These are the antibiotics typically used for TB treatment. A patient may require one or more of them however.
Isoniazid
Rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane)
Ethambutol (Myambutol)
Pyrazinamide

Those treatments are still toxic and take months to take effect.

What are everyone's thoughts on not only treatment(s) but possibly a vaccine suddenly coming out for Ebola only when American's become infected? Nobody in their right mind can tell me that's coincidental.

Because apparently we are the only country that gives a damn about our fellow humans. Not very long after the outbreak started scientists got to work on treatments and vaccines. Also so what if we we're thinking about our own first? To provide help to others we have to protect ourselves.

So what other countries are doing what we are to try and help the African people? Your underlying tone is very fishy.

So you think our country helped them out just because the drug company felt like being kind?

Just learned that Canada is at the heart of developing the treatment for Ebola.

It wouldn't surprise me if they came out with a vaccine for Ebola. It kills way too many way too quick, no long term money in it. AIDS on the other hand.

Hate to break it to you but not every drug company is evil. Regardless of what you or anyone else believes. There are evil ones yes, but they are not all bad.

True. Malaria kills more than Ebola could ever dream of. I think the major problem with malaria is there are just so many Mosquitos it's impossible to stop.

BOT- of topic,kind of-

You know anything about this virus that is all but killing kids? Putting them in the icu with in a week. Starts out as a head cold and progresses.

It seems heaviest in Texas,Missouri,Georgia and Alabama.
