Will Dobbs have his degree next year? Serious question. I just don't see him leaving without it imo.
If he goes to a team like Tampa Bay that runs the cover 2, he can be a long time starter. He's alot like Lavonta David. Undersized but speedy.
There will definitely be a place for him in the new NFL that is all about passing and defending the pass.
I actually think he would be close to a degree because of summer school, but it takes a lot of hours to get an engineering degree.
I hope he gets his degree early so that he can put all that engineering stuff behind him and put 100% into the most important thing in the world...UT football.
He's not leaving early cause its unlikely he gets a 1st round grade this year. But the fact he's already showing up on draft boards means he'll be a big time prospect next year when he's a senior.
You have lost your mind if you think Dobbs will be a "big time QB prospect". Love the kid but he is one of the more inaccurate passers I have ever witnessed and doesn't have the build to take the hits in the NFL to run much.
Unless he makes a HUGE improvement in accuracy and the reading of coverages he will be lucky to be a NFL back up.
Gotta work on his arm strength and accuracy big time
