Doug Mathews says Pruitt has made OC Choice

I guess he is waiting for the the final press conference before the first game of the year to announce and plan the offense in secret so no one knows who it is that will give us a advantage during the season. Word is someone who is a male about 40 years old wearing a disguise has been seen entering the practice facility.

I guess a silver lining to this search is I’ve learned not to listen to Doug Matthews anymore. Thought he was the reliable one.
There are a few here that love them some Dougie boy and I'm sure this has been painful for them.

Wonder if this is less pruitt and more fulmer putting a gag order on the program, bc of the damage from 2017?

We were quiet in 2017. That was the problem. We are so quiet that we believe anything the media spits out. We believe the media and if we don’t hire the guy the media was wrong about then it looks like we missed.

Man it brutal listening to him. Really the reason I didn't want fulmer as ad is because I've heard him and Matthews on their coach to coach show. It's horrible. Imagine if your great grandfather (and you're like 40) was sitting around talking football with his buddy. Of course it would all be "back in my day". Not a lot of innovation new ideas or youthful energy going on. It's just all how they did things their way once upon a time. And it takes both of them about 5 minutes to compete each sentence. And of course...we hire one of them to basically run football operations. We're the most incompetent institution in the history of instructions.

We hired Fulmer to basically run football operations? That what an AD does? I honestly didn't know that.

He may be reliable and be correct OR Fulmer may have given him a false nugget so he could announce it. This will keep the fan base from freaking out by giving them false hopes.

Either way he gave me false info so he has lost credibility. He is dead to me. :p

Anyone give a thought that it has been Sark all along and was just waiting for the season to be over to announce later this week. Doug may have been privy to that all along. Either way, it will get played like that if Sark is announced.

It’s like when Larry Munson was at Georgia it was like let’s go round them up at the old folks home before the game today boys so we can hear our play by play

That Sark knew that Sark was fired with 3-4 games to play?

Interviewing while trying to make the playoffs? It would have been a major violation of his contract with Falcons.

If that path is correct, then we don't want Sark, Pruitt, and whomever told Doug.

Smart young people don’t scorn the wisdom of their elders.
