People complain about casual fans being sports reporters. Chris Low is the best in Knoxville as far as integrity of the position.

I listen to Hyams more than Matthews or Rucker.

Hyams is on break this week but will be in Nashville on Sunday and next week providing Music City Bowl coverage for the Sports Animal.

People don’t like Wes because he can be a tad condescending and too blunt at times. However, I happen to respect that and enjoy both his write ups and witty Twitter banter.

Not a fan of Hyams. Indifferent on Matthews.

No man. You're way off. Jimmy Hyams, okay (even though he will break a story every now and then), but John Adams and anyone who writes for A to Z Sports Nashville are the absolute worst in journalism. John Adams likes to bash UT whenever he can.

I personally really appreciate Rucker, David Ubben, Josh Pate, Chris Low, Patrick Brown. Those are some of the ones that do a great job.

AtoZ seems to be strictly click bait. Haven’t read Adams in 20 years and hope to avoid him for another 20. Don’t miss Ubben. On the positive side, Patrick Brown, Chris Low and the Volquest guys seem pretty good. After reading some of the comments in this thread, I am going to give Matthews a listen.

Hyams is like your grandparent who posts a news article on Facebook...two days after the story broke.

Matthews is ok.

Rucker is the most fair and objective, and definitely the best writer of the group. He is a bit arrogant though.

Doug was Fulmers drum beater for years, he often wrong about what’s going on, but if he sticks to the technical part of football he’s pretty good.

Yep. I’m fine with all three. It’s the constantly negative, overly sensitive, always attacking someone else Vol fans I can’t stand.

Rucker is good... Hyams sucks... Mathews isnt in the loop as much.... Swain Mckee and Hubbs the most reliable
