Dormady's playing time.

When he does get in, don't look for him to get to throw it. Last thing Butch needs is the fans to see him spin it well and start thinking he needs to play. The last thing Butch wants is to be scruntinized about the QB choice like last year. Can't say I blame him.

Well he did get to throw it. God help us if Dobbs can't connect next week....but boy he throws a nice ball. Looks good.

...no, not really, not yet anyway.

But man, does Dormady look good. Not as elusive or fast on his feet as Dobbs, but he sure can throw.

Go Vols!

How's that theory working out?

First observation. Dormady is playing against a tired, demoralized football team.

However, he does have arm talent and appears to have the it factor. Dobbs better pick up his play or Dormady moght push him for the job at some point. Might be in the spring or next fall camp, but he might push him. And that would be good for the team because Dobbs will either elevate his play and keep the job or Dormady will take it because he is playing better.

BTW, Dobbs played well enough in this game too, and against a fresher defense. However, he does appear to struggle with throws down the field. Whereas, Dormady appears very comfortable and confident with those throws.
