Dooley has this season and next to prove if he's got it or not, because unless they fall flat we can't afford to fire him. The comments that we're better than Florida talent wise is not true. We don't have the depth of upper SEC teams yet, however we are improving in that area. We all want to win every game and this one hurts especially. The facts are that we can't expect to win big time without solid D and a running game is this conference. Patience isn't only a virtue, it's all we got right now.

Chaney is probably gone, or at least demoted to QB / WR coach after this season.

Dooley probably survives, if...if...the Vols can finish 7-5 or better, and play respectably in a bowl.

Sal is back if Dooley is back. Same for Graham.

We'll see.

A lot of people seem to short change UT's ability to recruit. A dynamic recruiter could bring top 10 classes consistently to UT. Schools like Clemson should not be out recruiting UT, but their HC is a great recruiter. The way I see it is that even though we have a coach that has never proven anything, he was still able to get recruiting classes ranked in the teens. If Dooley can convince enough recruits to be ranked in the teens then surely a proven coach would be able to do better.

enough of this foolishness already!

this fellow is just not head coach material and unfortunatly he never will be.

time to cut our losses,retain what talent we have and move on.every year we wait adds at least 2 years to the rebuilding process.

dooley has served his purpose and restored some sense of stability but i feel he has maxed out his capabilities.

this program is bleeding money,the seats will again be empty and quite frankly its getting embarrassing.

I have been a Dooley supporter from the beginning but I can't take it any more. I want freaking Dabo swinney or nick saban type. Someone who brings top 5 to the table for breakfast while he's reading a players profile on the ****ter. Idc who he is but this is killing me. I am a die hard VFL but he can't get them coached right. I won't championships damnit. Every year contention. With the talent we have we should have man handled Florida and made Akron our teacup female dogs. We need something. And soon

Looks like you can still kick Tennessee around. And it's Akron. Wow. Even if we win close this is a joke. Akron won one damn ball game last year. smh
