Been saying it since the KY game. If a team quits, it's a reflection of the respect they have for their coach. Good coaches NEVER have kids quitting on them. Dooley is a nice guy but a bad coach. And for those saying it's just one game, those are the same idealists that said it's just one game last year. This is a team of juniors and seniors playing against a young/injured Florida team. We had more weapons, more experience, and we were at home for petes sake! No excuse for the loss...NONE!

They failed to see that Fulmer was growing long in the tooth. They let him have too much influence and power. Mike Hamilton knew nothing about football and didn't see the signs the program was deteriorating. Fulmer had put recruiting on cruise control and fallen way behind. He wasn't competitive with our rivals in his final years either...

Kiffin further set it back by bailing like he did.

Now we have Louisana Tech's coach. It's been a bad run for the Vols.....
