To be fair, it's hard to argue with this. I think we have all said "this is the year you better get FL". We not only didn't get them, we got smoked, at home

What's sad is Florida will lose multiple games this year. And they made us look silly. Wrap your minds around that. Anyone that still believes Dooley is the man for the job is a straight up fool.

I was with you until that. Fulmer is a big part of the reason we are in the mess we are now.

Today, as bad as it was, was much better than 2008.

Fulmer sunk the titantic dude. That's dead and buried. Now we are dealing with the carnage.

I still think 8-4 (or 8-5, including a bowl win) should buy him one more season. This is one game and we can play better (and will at some point).

It is hard to tell if it is coaching or if it is the players but we are just not good enough to compete with the the top sec teams and it sucks. Should we have got rid of fulmer aka bill snider at kansas state or should we fire the current coach but it does not seem to matter. Tennessee football will never be like it was or maybe we will go 11-1 and only lose to florida like the old days.

For all intents and purposes, tonight was the single biggest game of Coach Dooley's career.

My opinion of him as a coach lowered significantly tonight. I've been on the fence, but I jumped off tonight. It's not that we lost. It's how we lost that tells me all I need to know. This team completely quit when the going got tough. A team takes on the personality of its head coach.

I've seen enough. We will never win big with Dooley.

It's more likely that he puts up a third losing season this year giving him one more losing season in three years than CPF had in 16.5 years. Sure, part of this is Fulmer's fault, but we've got to see Dooley for what he is... in a word, incompetent.

that excuse is dead, Hamilton's firing and hiring's did 10 times the damage as Fulmers recruiting drop off

Have supported Dooley since he was hired, getting real hard after tonight.

If he is not the answer, where do we go, will TN spend the money, will TN let a coach be a Saban/Chizik (you know what I mean)? I don't think so, we will not let our staff, the Knox press will not the staff, UT will not let give the staff the free rein to bring in (and keep) the players it takes to win now.

It's a new game from where it was in the 90s, get dirty or be mediocre!

Chizik does not deserve that slash after Saban's name, but the Vols will either pay for a proven coach or continue losing.
