So that makes it right? If you bought the tickets, why not show up? Sounds like money management issues to me. If you are going to pony up for some season tickets, go to the damn game if you can go.
I am a season basketball ticket holder, I will go to every game no matter the outcomes. People just need to quit their belly aching and support this team, or just cheer for another. It is pretty plain and simple. It has been 1.5 years, not 2 or 3 or 4, 1.5. Why is it so hard to realize that?
They have a history of doing that. It's always been that way until Kiffin. After that they went back to trying to find that diamond in the rough.
Even the Kiffin hire was shaky. His daddy sold that deal, that and promise of a allstar staff.
I just wish they had waited. I don't care that they would have lost a recruit or two. Just wouldn't have mattered in the long run.
The buyout protects both parties unless Dooley doesn't hold up his end. We won't know until next year one way or the other. I myself would have been fine with naming Kippy interim, but that's just me.
They won't. They are all Alabama fans that live in Nashville.
Lol, thanks for the lesson.
I know how contracts work, including those involving BCS schools and coaches. The buyout was too strong given the lack of resume.
by "haters" i presume you mean anybody who doesn't buy the idea that a lifetime sub .500 coach from the bush leagues is suddenly going to become a winner in the sec. count me in. just as walmart or microsoft aren't hiring their ceo's from kelly services, the university of tennessee shouldn't be turning over its storied program to a coach with only one unimpressive winning season (8-4)in his resume. it would take a bona fide idiot to do that (see mike hamilton). here it is nearly two seasons in and the only improvement is in the quantity of the excuses. as for being a bama fan who wants rid of dooley, rest assured, the real bama fans would be tickled if we signed this stiff to a lifetime contract.

Yeah because there would've been a total of 0 coaches that would've jumped at that knowing the mess Tennessee was in. Good call.
