He has won at a rate never scene before at his last two college jobs. I would trade that for him leaving us with a sour taste in our mouths as long as NCAA probation isn't the issue.

I have not been on Volnation for very long and I have not posted much. Neither do I read it every day, just a bit after each game. So I have not gotten to know any of you, really. But this poster Zasnow seems to be royalty around here. He posts two sentences and it seems that all the old guard of VN takes it at face value. Nobody so far has really called BS on this thread. No disrespect meant at all here, but could someone please explain to me why I should believe that Zasnow knows Dooley is done? Is he that well-connected?

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered already. I read five pages and just saw the page count going up and up and up. I cannot spend all night reading every single post in the thread.

Zas is pretty solid, he gets heat for the Shannon thing that fell apart after he posted it. As far as this goes. I now think its true because I just heard it from someone I trust more than Zas and if you read my posts I have been saying I didnt think it would happen.

If Kirby Smart is brought in and he retains the defensive staff I will burn every mattress on my street. I am so frustrated. I like Dooley as a person but I think his future in college athletics is on the administrative side.

I agree. At this point there is no need for him to finish the year if in fact the choice has been made. Name the interim, and get busy naming the successor, that way the new coach can salvage the recruiting class.
