Dooley vs Franklin

Oh how we have fallen to need lockeroom material for Vandy. Hopefully Dooley says nothing. We can at least act like winners.

What coach? Point to an example of a coach who has beaten someone this year without their Quarterback and top play maker.

Bray played against a terrible Florida team and a pretty bad Georgia team. It didnt make a difference. Hunter was out but even without him UT has better talent at receiver than the majority of the SEC.

It just gets easier and easier to hit the ignore button. Kind of like skipping that first 7:50 MWF class of the quarter (I realize that the "quarter" reference gives my age away), once you do it, it just gets easier and easier to do...

Dooley by God. Because he's the coach of Tennessee while Franklin is the Coach of Vanderbilt.

ingore button for the win!

Ask the same question at the end of next year (or maybe just next week). Too little evidence to say which is better.

I had rather have Franklin....

What say ye?

Based on what?

Franklin has taken a senior laden team to a 5-5 record with victories over Elon, UConn, Ole Miss, UK, and Army.

Resume wise... he came to Vandy from Maryland where he was OC. He had one good year in '10 and two in the bottom half of the ACC. Before that, he was K-State's OC. His HC at KSU got fired. Basically his stepping stones to the Vandy job were OC jobs at a middling ACC program and a failing Big 12 program.

He has brought "excitement" to Vandy's recruiting... but what does that mean? Basically it means they have hopes of not finishing last in the SEC in recruiting.

He HAS done a GOOD job. DD hasn't proven himself but Franklin hasn't done the first thing that makes me think UT should want him over Dooley.

Will the Vandy fans go away when Franklin's team goes 5-7?

ive always liked watching ut vs vandy just because its usually a good game that tn is almost guaranteed to win...i like the fact that aaron rogers brother is playing for vandy though...it will be interesting to see if he is anywhere near as good as his brother is.
