I haven't seen direct evidence that he's trying to be Saban. Every good professional in whatever line of work they're in will try to adopt and adapt things they admire about others in their profession.and that is Nick Saban. You can learn, you can watch and take notes but trying to be someone else is just smoke and mirrors. I love Warren Buffet, can I follow his exact strategy and become a billionaire? Same concept with Dooley, he will ultimately have to stand on his own regardless of who's persona he emulates.
You almost had a relevant, sensible post then you just had to didn't you?All this process bs is just that unless he can recruit and that jury is still out bigtime...
No. Process isn't bs. It is the means by which you accomplish what you're after. When you see raw plastic, rubber, steel, etc roll into one end of an auto factory and a car roll out the other... there's a process in between that has at least as much to do with the quality of the car as the raw materials.
You also keep implying... even after being shown embarrassingly wrong... that Dooley isn't in on good recruits. You just need to give that one up until you have some real, tangible proof. Right now, it is just words coming out of the mouths of 17 year olds... but at some point we'll see commitments and solid recruiting evaluations. Then we'll know how "bigtime" the jury is really out.
