I heard a few things about a meeting too. Apparently, Dooley canceled on Hart claiming he had to have an emergency Dr. visit due to increased pain in hip.
Meeting rescheduled for 6:30 am on Tuesday. My impression from the guy who told me this was that Dooley will be here next year unless Hart gets interest from a big name. Sean Payton's name has apparently been mentioned.
This losing thing is awesome. Lets just keep the same coach who has done absolutely nothing to prove he is a winner.
There is no both sides. I don't do the hiring or firing.
I cannot speak intelligently on the subject of a college head football coach and whether or not he should be retained or let go at this particular time. Is it really that hard to understand?
Good lord, most posters here hate the fact that I post at all cause I'm a girl. I'm admitting that I DON'T KNOW and it still doesn't make you happy. I give up.
I get that. It was his dream job, and I don't blame him for going. I still think that we would be a top 5 team now.
Maybe it was his dream job, but he showed zero respect for the job, the school and the state of Tennessee. He never bothered changing his driver license, he had Orgeron try to sabotage our recruiting on the way out, he gave a late night statement to the press, and he couldn't even be bothered to tuck in his shirt. He took a hot steamy dump on our program. He was here for one reason and one reason only: We were the only place willing to hire an unproven twit in his early 30's simply for the benefit of having his dad to replace the Chief. We wouldn't be a top 5 team, because if it hadn't been USC, it would have been someone else.

I live in FL. people move in and out of here all the time. About half of my friends have been here for more than a year and still have plates on their cars from other states, and licenses as well...that means nothing. Did you want hand holding after he left? The job he dreamed of opened up and he jumped. I truly think he would have been here for a while- and we would have been good.Maybe it was his dream job, but he showed zero respect for the job, the school and the state of Tennessee.
