Don’t want to compete with Michigan and Texas

If you poney up the 💰 doesn't matter who we compete against. Either they'll want to be here or somewhere else.
Tennessee needs to finally poney up, we are a very popular University. Problem has only been that we are not putting out the dough.

Hiring a really good coach is going to take some moxy. We will see if the perpetual brush fire 🔥 continues or we put it out completely.

It's also possible that Covid really did disrupt this year's development and that under normal circumstances Pruitt can produce an 8+ win season next year with this roster. A new coach will not have this roster so hard to say what next season would look like good or bad.
I think if fans knew as much as they thought they did, and hired their choice, every team in the country would be undefeated

Looking at next years schedule we could be just pretty good and go 9-3. In fact if QB play improves (how could it not) 9-3 looks very doable with this team. 4 relative cupcakes non-conference and Ol' Miss as the other team from the West. IOW we can lose to the Dawgs, Gators, and Tide and still be New Years bowling.

I dont think some of them realize how hard rebuilding a roster truly is. His 1st recruiting class aint even seniors yet and people talking about developement smh.
Dead period has been extended to April 1st of this year too, recruiting is not easy right now.

Your the biggest Pruitt supporter I have seen. What has he done to instill confidence to know he can get things done here?
Well, he was Guarantano's biggest fan. Now that JG appears to have found a permanent spot on the sideline, he has to become a fanboy for someone else and Pruitt seems to be his choice.

That just proves your boy can't couldn't coach a fat kid to eat.
Everyone else had to deal with it
First year coaches and freshmen players alike.
Almost all of them did better than the 3rd year genius.

All this so called disease did was reveal who is a good coach and solid program and who isnt.
There were little to no hiding places like last year.
Your boy can coach and the program is in disarray.
One more year, 5 more, isn't gonna change anything except maybe make it worse.

Good coaches and solid programs rose to the top

Just to be clear. Even in an different year we wont spend the kind of money to get a top tier coach. We will always be in the B grade destinations because of what we are willing to pay.

Just curious, in your opinion, what’s the bare minimum for Pruitt next year? And if he doesn’t meet that expectation, will you call for him to be fired too?
He deserves to be on the hot seat. I think he's got to beat one or 2 of the big3 next season or finish 9-3 with losses to all 3. 8-4 maybe but I think that would have to include a win over Alabama or FL. He also deserves the chance to develop the kids he brought in, his last class is just now getting to practice on a regular basis and some of them have been here for a year already.

Nope, I guess you could just never keep up. I've always been a fan of Pruitt's and I pretty much called the QB situation to a tee over a year ago when Bailey signed. You boys love to call me out though and I've no idea ever recalling anything else you've ever contributed to the board. I don't have any recollection of you at all. :)

Our basketball coach says hello. We've not had a coach worthy of top pay and the ones we have offered in the past have turned us down. We are not a B grade destination with a $100 million budget.

Vacated wins are still wins.
Incorrect.
They are not considered losses, but they are no longer considered wins given the circumstances of how you got them.

I honestly believe if you have to forfeit a game that you knowingly broke the rules and won, it should be considered a loss as well. But thats just my opinion.

I don’t think we’ll be in a position to beat Alabama next season - that’s just reality IMO. Georgia will have far superior talent but we could potentially pull an upset but it’s a definite long shot. I think progress would be a single digit loss to both those. I think Florida was beatable this year and we should have a shot next year but playing in the swamp makes it a tough one as well. I think we can go 0-3 against those teams as long we are actually in the games in the second half. A win over the Gators in the Swamp would buy Pruitt more margin.
He has to win the OOC games (Pitt) and go at least 4-4 in conference...so I think 8-4 is the lower limit of expectations...note that in my book, if we upset any of the big 3, the minimum expectation goes to 9-3...
