You get it1) Competing with other schools with bigger pocketbooks.
2) If we continue to lose (why would we believe otherwise) recruiting will suffer, and players will transfer out.
3) They buyout isn't getting cheaper, we're just paying for him to be here.
4) The cupboard is not bare at this point. The roster is in better shape than when he came (but still not SEC Title good).
What makes you think guys are not going to transfer in mass if Pruitt is fired tom? I'm guessing Henry T would go straight to Alabama with him and Bailey straight to FL. I think as many as 15-20 would bail, maybe more.1) Competing with other schools with bigger pocketbooks.

I don't think it's the same, Pruitt has built the roster up, our roster in '17 was not very good at all. I think we can be successful next season with Pruitt and this roster. This is 2017 all over again. The year before Pruitt got here was possibly the most troubling year in every aspect and there was not another year even came close. Now not saying Pruitt is or is not going to be fired I don't know but if something does not change we will repeat 2017.
If we hang on to JP for a year too long, we could be in a coaching search against Michigan and Texas. I think as we stand right now it’d be most beneficial to part ways now and get the best coach available.
There has not been and will not be a scenario where we are competing for the same coaches as Michigan and Texas. We and they choose our coaches on separate planes of existence since 2009.This quote is from Nashville radio show. Could be correct.

I agree but if he refuse to make the decisions next year like he did this year you know what is waiting and everything is done in motion.I don't think it's the same, Pruitt has built the roster up, our roster in '17 was not very good at all. It's also possible that Covid really did disrupt this year's development and that under normal circumstances Pruitt can produce an 8+ win season next year with this roster. A new coach will not have this roster so hard to say what next season would look like good or bad.I agree but if he refuse to make the decisions next year like he did this year you know what is waiting and everything is done in motion.
Honestly we’re not competing against them anyways. We won’t call an elite coach like Meyer, etc. Tennessee will target a coordinator or mid major coach. If we hang on to JP for a year too long, we could be in a coaching search against Michigan and Texas.
