Hate to hear that about the male.

From all i've learned they're a good breed. I got plenty of space for them to hunt without having to worry much about em getting run over.

Landscaping for Spring today and my 16 year old Border Collie/ lab mix is suffering following me around. Got her crated for the night but think her hips are about done. Vet said I would be crazy two years ago to attempt surgery on a dog of her age. Fawking pissed off and got her inside petting her awaiting Monday. She loves playing fetch and was a frisbee dog in her youth. Brought this up the other day and didn't knock on wood. She is struggling to walk but this dog doesn't wimper or sigh and is fully alert except for her hearing. Cancelled a beach vacation to figure this out. Sh!t sucks.:cray:

I got rid of all my Pit Bulls. Went and put a deposit on an AKC Doberman Pinscher that will be ready the 28th. I'm so excited that I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. Anyone here own, or familiar with the breed? From all the research I've done, they are an awesome dog. Also found that they are #5 on the top 10 smartest dog breeds.

Her hip came out of place and I popped it back in need to see the Vet but she has been doing a lil better today stayed in socket so far. I will get that b!tch wheels before I put her down she is my baby.:hi:

Baby boy is doing good. Took him for a two mile walk along the Stones river in the stroller here today. He is getting big 7 weeks today. How is your lil girl, SDV.

Just lost my composure telling my boys that our first dog as a family, and my first dog, will be put down this week, barring another Lazarus routine from ole Mousse.

It is a totally different life and you got to love it. I don't even know what its like to sleep for 5 hours straight but fawk it, can do that when I am dead.:crazy: Enjoying every minute of it so far.

Not today. I've been hanging by him all day. I think whatever happened ended his sight, and he only had one eye anyway. Just carried his big ass to the yard and held up his back half. He was able to go with me helping him. He's just stumbling around like a punch drunk boxer.
Thanks again for the thoughts. You guys don't need to tell me you are sorry. It's understood.

This **** sucks though. Don't underestimate the sting for some people. Yeah, he's just a dog, but he's a big part of our family. By low estimates, homie has over 25k fetches in the pool in 12 years of swimming. Just a stud. A total dickhead at times, but a stud.
