The never ending stick game:

Scrappy sometimes participates in the stick game, but she'd rather hunt for lizards, mice, frogs or anything else that moves:

Charlie used to carry his food bowl up the hill when he was done eating, so instead my wife taught him to bring it back into the laundry room where they are stored. Twice a day, when he's done eating, he waits anxiously for the command to bring the bowl, at which he proudly parades the bowl into the laundry room so that it can be stashed away. Funniest thing about this, is when he was first learning to do it, he picked the bowl up once by the edge that was closest to him, so that it was in front of his eyes and he couldn't see. It took him a few seconds to figure that one out. He kept moving his head from side to side as if to say "I hear you, but I can't see you."

Speedbump "speaks" when she wants to go outside. You can see little Violet pinning down big, huge Charlie in the background. She loves to pick on him.

The vegetation in my back yard has grown a bit in the past year or two. I was trying to play fetch with a similarly sized stick today and heard Rocky whining down in the woods. It sounded serious, so I went down to investigate, because I was afraid he was bitten by something. He was holding the stick in the center and repeatedly ramming it between these two bushes and crying. It was so cute, I wished I had my phone on me to record it.
