I think he was about 4 in those photos

I can't even really think about it. I started going down that path the other day when I realized how old he is getting, and I had to push it out of my mind. He loves me so much and is a great little guy.

Dug this thread up because I just got a new dog. Got a full blooded German Shepherd. I named him Apollo. He's 6 weeks old.

The whole litter was brown/black or black with a lot of brown in them. I picked this guy because I loved how he was marked up mostly black. He isn't as fluffy as his siblings.

My question is can a full blooded GSD look like this at 6 weeks? All his siblings looked the part, but he had a different look to him. I saw both parents and they were definitely shepherds.

He will grow into his GSD markings. Most likely will favor his daddy.
