As long as he isn't violating any NCAA rules, so what if he calls out a coach (who's has 2 NCAA championships) and lets the Volnation know that he means business and will back down from noone.

Wrong. He turned in a Top 20 recruiting class with only 8 weeks of time to do it.

Of course he wasn't. Art Shell had appeared in 90 games, was 52-38 in 5 seasons with the Raiders in the late 80's-early 90's, but couldn't do anything in 2006. Heck, Mike Shanahan wasn't successful in Oakland. Does that mean he wasn't a sucessful coach.

I have two degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and I'm not embarrassed at all. How about you?

I'm not normally one to pull this "I went to school there, did you?" crap out, but when I start hearing this shite about how the university ought to be embarrassed about something related to sports, then yeah, I want to know. Don't tell me how embarrassed I ought to be for my alma mater unless you're sporting a degree or two too.

Class went out the door with the hire of Coach O. And those who think CLK is some type of good must be living in their own little dream world. 90% of his peers and all of his NFL players all think he is useless and living off Monte's name. We hired a prick and that is all he has ever been and ever will be!

He didn't do anything more than Spurrier did to him by trying to step on his press conference calling him a cheater. The only difference is Kiffin replied directly where as UF gets all high and mighty and issues a formal press release from their AD. Maybe they need to loosen up a little bit.

Let's review this. You have two degrees from UTK? One in '93 and one in '08. Explain this please. You work at the UTSI extension?

I got a degree at UTK; I worked for a long time; I quit to stay home and take care of my kids, once they decided to show up; I went back and got a master's degree while doing so. Now let's hear all about your fabulous academic career at UT...?

Kiffin hasn't done a thing wrong. PERIOD. All he did was call out Meyer. So what. If anything you should feel amused.

If Kiffin knocked the crap out of a kid, our did something to tarnish the schools reputation (NCAA violation) then you have a reason to bash the guy!

Nobody but you is claiming a "fabulous academic career" or trying to boast about "2 degrees". Congrats on your masters, btw. Sorry you had to stoop to the LK level, try to impress me with all your accomplishments. For what its worth, double major Bio/phy Sci, work at UTSI 3 days/week, otherwise in Bradley co. Not that it is any of your b'ness, but I contribute alot to the univ....I have a right to say what I damn well please.

And if you think LK is a good face for UT, you have a big problem. I could tell that anyway from your attempted boast.

Interestingly, LK wasn't a Vol fan until December. Now I don't mind that, as long as he brings something to the table.....but all I've seen thus far is alot of talk and chest thumbing, and then of course the apology. You don't find it embarrassing that our head coach, 2 months into it, has to clean up a mess? Hi is in over his head, and if you didn't know that already, how can you deny it now?

5150, chill!!! Its not the end of the world!! I watched your idol stand by while he was embarrased by the rest of the SEC. You dont back down to the bully, you stand up to them and when they realize your not intimidated by them, they will respect you. You dont gain respect by being a p****.
