Dodd: Butch Jones is Underrated

Oh, I don't know-- I think the Butch Sucks crowd is fairly evenly matched with the Butch Rocks crowd. It used to be pretty crowded here on the fence, but most people seem to have jumped off on one side or the other.

I admit I was on the fence. Then about half way through the '15 season I fell to the Butch sucks side!

I can only have one e-stalker at a time you guys will have to decide among the two of you who's going to be it.

This will be the THIRD and final reply to one of your recent posts. Had respectfully disagreed with you, didn't mean to feed your paranoia. :hi:

Then promptly benched him behind an inferior quarterback. Only to burn his redshirt for nothing. Wow. Genius level stuff there.

Burned it twice when all other options were kaput. Family wanted the redshirt. These are well known.

"In the SEC, only Jones, Nick Saban and Jim McElwain have won at least nine games the last two seasons. In the last three years, only Saban (40) has won more games than Jones (25) among SEC coaches."

Put that in your pipe and smoke it Butch haters. Thats called a fact ladies and gentlemen. That's for everyone that discredits the other improvements CBJ has made (i.e. Coaching staff, roster depth, program stability, academics, etc) saying winning is all that matters.

Now what are y'all trolls going to complain about?

That we didn't win a bad/down SEC East last year despite being the prohibitive/overwhelming favorite because we lost to the two bottom feeders of the SEC. And that evidently, while all the fans and media sure thought that playing in the SECCG was the goal for team 120, that our head coach had sworn that it was never even a topic of discussion between the staff and players. That's what we're primarily complaining about.

that's not how it went down. it was actually really smart to try and get a red shirt year under Dobbs' belt at the time. that decision is not one that i count in the "bad" category.
