Josh Malone was said to be very soft in practice, but I'd rather him play than Jacob Carter just because Carter can practice better.

He's the one who said Dobbs was falling behind and Peterman was pushing Worley for the starting job.

If you think CBJ thinks Dobbs is the best option but has a senior Worley who is about as good so he's redshirting Dobbs, well then, you've lost your **** ing mind.

If Dobbs was .0000001% better than Worley or Petterman in CBJ opinion he be ahead of them on the depth chart.

One thing I do like about CBJ is the starter is never permanent. He seems to be taking a look at it again this week.

Did you not see the post earlier that had an article referencing Butch himself saying "In a perfect world Dobbs will be redshirted."

I may think you've lost your mind whem you believe Peterman is capable of being an SEC QB.

Dobbs has an SEC win. Does Peterman even have an SEC touchdown?

Bo Wallace isn't elite and his team is top 3. Dak Prescott redshirted in 2011, road the bench in 2012, and only started in 2013 after the starter got hurt. Then exploded towards the end of his 3RD year in the program.
Im not comparing Dobbs to Dak, but there were plenty of people in ms calling him a bust when he couldn't beat out Tyler Wilson and threw for only 10 tds in 11 games in his 3rd year in the program, after redshirting his freshman year.

It's too early to tell on Dobbs and for those that think they have enough info, you don't.

I'd say it was the 5 yards per carry which includes sacks, 14 of his 38 carries gaining first downs, 12 were for more than 10 yards, there was the 40 yarder against Kentucky and the 33 yarder against Missouri.

The article says that Dobbs didn't come in because of the redshirt. That is not a Butch Jones quote. That assumes facts not in evidence. (Reading what you want to read).
The fact is Dobbs was not being redshirted till he got passed by Peterman.

The Good news for you Dobbites is It looks like Butch is looking at the situation again this week. It will be interesting to see if there's a change in the depth chart.

If there's not will you freak out?

Even if that was true I'm not sure I want to think about it. Also maybe I need to rewatch all of Dobbs games but I really don't get where the optimism flows forth about him. Could just be me he clearly has a loyal following. Especially post Ferg.

We don't see the QB's everyday like the coaches, and they know better than us. But if I am guessing between Dobbs and Peterman off of what I have seen Dobbs gives you a better chance of winning, having said that I will be pulling for Peterman if he ends up being the man. Also I don't think Dobbs advantage was by much and he probably needed the Redshirt more than Peterman in terms of building up strength in his arm and his body.It would be nice if he could redshirt the entire year but if Worley can't go and he has improved quite a bit it may be best if he plays. Bottom line you have to trust the coaches here, they see them everyday and are going to do what the think is best.Who knows maybe Peterman surprises folks, I hope the best for all of them. GO VOLS!!!!

Or even if we throw it much less, go ultra-conservative and eliminate the 2 picks and sack-fumble.

Florida couldn't score a TD until they got the short field.
