On topic I have said Peterman has been ahead of Dobbs and I maintain that. That said I don't give a damn who proves to be better, I just want the guy that gives us the best chance to win out there.

And what exactly is your source(s) for continuing to post on here that the competition "wasn't even close", that Peterman "clobbered" everybody in practice? Were you there? Did Jones and/or Bajakian discuss this with you? Were you there to witness all the practices? You say it in such an arrogant and condescending manner, surely you can provide definitive proof to back up your comments beyond what you've maybe read on the Internet or heard on the radio.

In my opinion, THIS is flawed logic. I do agree that our O-line is atrocious, but to say our season is blown? That just doesn't make sense to me. Our goal this year was not a NC or even an SEC title, it was to get to 6-6 and a bowl game. We need to show some promise and that we are progressing to our fans, our recruits, and to the rest of college football to show we are becoming legitimate again. For us to take a "pack it up and go home" approach is very disheartening. I am NOT a Cubs fan, I don't hang my hat on next season. We are still very much alive THIS season and whatever moves we can make to get us bowling need to be made.

Dobbs should have been doing this the entire season. like Coach jones but his yelling all the time gets a bit annoying as well as some of the play calling and the take no chances on 4th and short etc. He is a good coach but I question why no one else has played qb. I ask a Michigan fan the other day what he thought and he said qb was the problem.

What would a Michigan fan know about our QB's? Worley can make the throws when he gets any kind of pocket. He needs to throw the ball away when he is flushed. He was careless twice last week.

It's simple what he has "up his sleeve". I'll explain.

Three QB's No. 1 Worley, No. 2 Peterman, No. 3 Dobbs

There is a game Saturday. No. 1 Worley may not be able to play.

This means Peterman could move to No. 1 and Dobbs No. 2 for this particular game. So you always practice 2 QB's with the 1's just in case.

Seems pretty simple to understand.

If Dobbs was the best qb in the spring by far, he would have been in the QB competition. Also, Peterman was hurt when Dobbs came in and wasn't fully healed yet. Had he been healthy, he would have came in, not Dobbs.

I do not believe this is good news..Go back to the tape from the Ole Miss Game right after he was dinged up. They cut to Worley talking to teammate. If you read Justin's lips, you will see why Dobbs may be getting these reps..

Buying what? I hope Worley is able to go because he will give US the best chance of winning.

He is no 1 for a reason. It is because he has outplayed the other two.

The players stand behind him 100%. He is a good QB and would be having an excellent year with a more experienced team around him.

Putting Dobbs in at this point would be suicide. He may become a good QB but there is no way he is ready for Alabama.

Peterman has been No. 2 for a reason. And that is he has performed better than Dobbs.

If Worley can't go it needs to be Peterman!!!

No video of practice, so who is to say how many reps anyone had? Not knowing who will play, Bama will need to prepare for a running QB versus a non running QB. So the next argument is it won’t matter with our inexperienced OL, no one knows what the coaches are thinking. We don’t know how much Dobbs has progressed since the spring. Like it or not we’ll know Saturday night who will start, and how long of a leash he is given. I for one do not care who starts or who finishes the game, just as long as he can move the chains and produce in the red zone. CBJ will have the final decision right or wrong. We need only to back whoever is chosen and wish for the best. Go Vols

This^..When Worley had time in GA game at times the kid was making some pinpoint high level throws. I hope he is physically ready to go
