Had zero choice last year, he was the last man standing....apples and oranges imo. Is anybody, anybody really comfortable turning the fate of this season over to Peterman down the stretch? If it's only the Bama game then ok, that's a beat down loss anyway, let Peterman go and get us through that disaster. But we're still in contention for a bowl game after the Bama loss. Peterman is NOT gonna get us the 3 wins we need if Worley somehow can't finish the season.
This year, he's available if needed and he's clearly the better option to get us to 6 wins than Peterman. We have 2 young Qbs coming next year. Dobbs will still have 2 years eligibility remaining with the idea that the 2 young studs coming in next year and Kendall coming in 2016 will be ready to go after his senior year if not before.
Dobbs is not that great of a runner.every pass he threw was off .You guys act like he is John Elway.
Dear lord do you watch football? Dobbs was horrible last year.he looked for 1 Wr the whole time and. Runs like a stiff tre . Ge3eeeeez. He is not the answer
It's not that Dobbs was great, he wasn't. But in realityville, if Worley can't go then we have 2 choices.....Dobbs or Peterman. Are you really willing to hitch your wagon to Peterman? He may practice better, but Dobbs was about 9 light years better last year on Saturdays than Peterman was. Period. Neither is optimal, but one is much better when the lights come on....Dobbs.
Uh not its not. Dobbs came in down 35 when we received 2nd half kickoff. Clinton Dix and Collins and a lot of their starters were off the field.
I think the wildcat with Pig and Hurd for about 15 snaps a game would help relieve some pressure on whoever the QB is.Play them all. Barring a miracle, we will get beat anyway. To continue doing the exact same thing and expecting different results is crazy. None of the quarterbacks are future all-pros so pull out all the stops. Use the wildcat with Hurd and even AJ if necessary. Our TEAM is probably not ready to beat Alabama yet anyway so throw the kitchen sink at them. Whoever the quarterback is will not lose the game because our TEAM is probably incapable right now. Peyton gets a bad rap IMHO, because he doesn't win every Super Bowl but he doesn't play 1 vs 11. Even he needs teammates to pull their weight. So do our qb's.
SMDH. There were plenty of examples but you're hopeless. Lemme ask you this? Why do you hate this kid? Did he pee in your cheerios?
I want all our QBs to succeed.
Then why are you automatically saying Dobbs Dobbs Dobbs when we have a healthy 2nd stringer that will see the field before Dobbs. The only reason Dobbs is getting reps is because Worley is a no go and we aren't going to risk Peterman getting hurt and not having a back up practice this week. Dobbs does not play unless Nate is not able to go in due to injury. Even if it's 52-0, Nate stays in. Butch made the mistake of listening to the fan base once, he won't do it again.
