Dobbs looking good.

I’d love to see him in Nashville backing up Mariota
Not happening. They aren't paying Gabbert 2 mil a year to be 3rd team QB. Better option is Dallas. Dak likes to dink and dunk and relies on a good run game. It's already catered to Dobbs.

Great performance from Dobbs. Not sure why they didn't let him finish the half out since it's clear Rudolph will get the entire 2nd half. And if Tevin Jones doesn't drop a TD pass right in his hands then Dobbs finishes with 2 Pass TD's, 1 Rush TD and QBR of nearly 170.0.

I get it. These aren't starters he is playing against. So go ahead an dog him for doing it against backups. But he is still young and he did a good job escaping pressure tonight when Pitt's backup OL broke down. And he made some solid plays with his feet. My dad grew up in Pittsburgh and I know he is going to be real sad at the end of this week when Dobbs gets cut just to keep Landry Jones. I'm going to find it hard to root for Mason Rudolph in the future knowing his performance this pre-season didn't outshine Dobbs yet still kept his spot.

104.5 the zone in Nashville said Green Bay was interested in Dobbs and was part of the reason they were okay with trading Hundley.

Green Bay was okay with trading Hundley because he is terrible lol. There was a clip floating around twitter the other day of a play in his most recent game where he has all the time in the world, has a guy wide open for a TD and is clearly looking right at him, and then takes a sack. It was quite funny.

I don’t know why some Tennessee fans don’t pull for Josh as hard as they did Peyton. Josh is nothing but first class and has been THE shining light for the program the last ten yrs. He deserves to be in the league (clearly one of 64 best QBs this season) and I hope he makes it somewhere

Don’t know about others, but I am pulling for Dobbs to make a team. Have not missed either a game or the replay (if it wasn’t shown live in Nashville). He is a great guy and an incredible ambassador for UT.

If Pitt releases him, somebody will definitely pick him up imo. He’s gonna be a good, solid backup for somebody at some point imho.

How do you make a statement like that? I believe most on here pull for all VFL’s, Dobbs is in Peyton’s league as far as a shining example for the school.

The only way I see the Steelers trade Dobbs is if they sweeten the pot for a team. The Steelers got 1 extra 6th but no 5th.
If I was the GM, I’d trade Dobbs and a 6th for a 5th or a low end 4th rounder

Who knows, maybe they finalized a trade? We’ll find out soon enough, but I think everyone would be shocked if he isn’t on somebody’s roster in the League this season.

His most remarkable accomplishment is the points his offense has put on the board.

I think he would fit in really well at Tennessee before Mariota, or even Houston behind Watson. I never thought Pittsburgh was a good fit for him, and always saw his acquisition as a weird thing anyways. Always wondered if Tomlin was doing Jones a solid favor or something. Not that Dobbs didn't deserve to be on a roster, he absolutely does. Just never understood Pittsburgh specifically, as his style seems so different than what they normally look for.

I think....if Dobbs gets cut, it may be the best thing to happen to him, because he WILL get picked up somewhere that'll be a better fit for him. Tennessee, Houston, Carolina, Jacksonville, Miami, Kansas City.....all of those would be great fits for him, IMO.
