Do you want him back?

1 player will not cause us to lose a game. Make game a little tougher but Da Rick isnt Tebow,Trent Richardson,Andrew Luck, etc... He was a great WR but not on a level where if he doesn't play we lose..IMO of course but I just dont see it.

They will be guys like Bray, Hunter, and hopefully Neal.

Well, I was hoping that it would have been Da'Rick as well. His stats from last season carried as much "meaning" as any of those on your list. I didn't realize we were going only on "hope" when I asked my original question.

I am going on results. When some guys put up some numbers in some wins that matter, then their is your answer.

His stats from last year mean nothing.

As I mentioned in another thread, if it is failing a drug test regarding pot, I think they need to simply sit their arse just like they would regarding academics. Society is sending a clearly different message...including their Toker-in-Chief, Obama...who bragged about having done plenty of that WHILE IN COLLEGE. The media treated it like it made him even cooler. If it had been a Conservative, then it would have been a grave evil.

So, upon a third failed test, then sitting out a mandatory number of games would likely wake some of these Honey Badgers, and Janzen Jacksons up. But I don't think it's right to just kick them off the team.

I'd just get the message across..."You want to be like all the other college kids here...smoking pot on the weekends? Go ahead, but you will indeed be like them in that you won't be playing on this team...until you decide to get your head on straight."

It will def make it easier for teams to match up with our WR..so I say losing Rogers is huge but its his fault and everyone else suffers from it

I have not seen any facts backing your cancer statment. I have not seen a single team member make that accusation, just a bunch of vn posters say that. Of course I would take him back.

Seen a bunch of people taking up for him just because he's a star player. I agree vn is full of rumors that aren't true in the least, and I try to take everything with a grain of salt. However, when there are repeated offenses against a team's rules, how could anyone defend the guy? He did it to himself and it does hurt the team. I don't like to play the source card, but my bestfriend is from Calhoun. His uncle owned a gym that the calhoun football team worked out at, The Factory. DR came in and was supposed to do box jumps or something. DR jumped up, put touched hands flat against the ceiling (at least 10 ft) came down, told the man, "looks like I don't need this" and walked out. That obviously shows he has athletic ability. Also shows he's a jerk. In short, it will hurt for a bit, but I don't miss him.

Been to much drama around this character. Would have liked him not to screw it up to begin with! How much crap can you take from the guy?

I say yes, you'd be a fool not too, but if I was dooley, I would encourage him to go pro after this year..

What ever happened to morals? What ever happened to do the right thing? The kid will not listen. The kid apparently likes to break the LAW by smoking weed. He has had several other issues come up and people are willing to ignore it if he can play ball and help us win. I still think people should be held accountable for their actions. Today it may just be smoking weed in his apartment. Next week he could get high and kill 3 people in an auto accident. Winning is not worth selling your soul for.

I'll say this, depending on the team rule, I'd definitely want him back. If it was anything remotely minor, sit him for the first half or first game, then get him back in the lineup. When was the last time a team "cancer" truly affected a college team?

If you allow the players to run the team and or make the rules, that team will fail.
