Yeah. His press conference made me think we hired Forrest Gump. I thought at the least he'd be kind of a wildman and mildly entertaining.

Same as losing to candy last season. No reason to not want to win. Peanut will blame players for sure. And yes it's 1 game but wow ! Way to start season.

Doesn't look like he wants to be here this season. Just watch his body language on the sidelines. No fire. No drive. No emotions. Calm as a butterfly.

At least last season he was fired up and yelling and kicking. I think I even remember him grabbing a player by the helmet and yelling at them during a game once last season. Maybe I'm mistaken but if not that was one reason why I was a Pruitt believer. No cliches. And he showed emotion. Acted like he wanted to win while he was here last season.

I don't know what happened but they hardly showed him on the TV today. And when they did he just looked like he wishes he was still back at Bama.

I was all for him last season. Even during the off season. But after seeing what I saw tonight on the screen, I am no longer a Pruitt believer.

Don’t care if he wants to be here or not. Don’t even care if he sees us as a steppingstone. What I do care about is what I saw on the field today?

Nah they'll keep doing that forever. As soon as he beats one or two teams this year it will be back to who will swoop in and steal Beldar out from under us..

The first thing he should have done in his press conference is apologize to all Tennessee fans and tell us that today was on him, totally unacceptable and will never happen again as long as he is a coach. Since he basically didn't say any of these things, it's pretty obvious he's playing us for a huge buyout.

It may sound incredibly corny but you have to have passion for your job as a HC. You not only have to want to be there, but you have to do all the little extra things that show how much you love the job. Look at Mack Brown after NC beat USC today, the guy was ecstatic, his love for North Carolina is evident and you know he’s going to put in every second he can into bringing that program into the national spotlight.

We all make fun of Dan Mullen and hate Florida but it’s clear the guy loves being in Gainesville. Pruitt has never came across as a guy who wants to be at Tennessee or associated with the Vols. I remember last season when many people were making a big deal out of the fact that it took him months before he was spotted with an orange top on.

All his boring, run of the mill pressers and you can see he really doesn’t care all that much.

50 years for me and today was the worst. I saw us lose to North Texas St. And Army. Those were nothing compared to this. Fortunately I was too young to see us lose at home to UT Chattanooga ( 1962?). However, theres always this season to see it happen again
