If yes, like this post. If not, tell me what your reasons for thinking so are. I'm trying to make a poll, but it keeps giving me an error message. Going to try and edit this after to add the poll option.

I think we do, as long as we don't run into Kentucky on a neutral floor. Being a 2 or 3 seed could definitely hurt us, so we need to win out. There are only a few teams I fear (Kentucky and LSU of course, as well as Duke). Otherwise, I think we can definitely make it to the Final 4. If we meet up with a team that has length inside and hits the 3 at a high percentage, we could find trouble sooner than we expect.

Depends on the match ups we draw. Basketball is a game of match ups, like most sports. If we draw an experienced, physical, deep, athletic, talented team, that is well coached, plays defense, and crashes the boards, at least as well as we do, we may be in trouble. But the tournament is a huge grind. Survive and advance. In my opinion, if this team plays to it potential and key people get hot from the perimeter, they can beat anything put in their way. Including UK, Duke, and LSU. On an even playing field, of course.

It's the minimum standard that I believe this team has set for itself along w winning the SEC. Both are in our control.

One thing to consider is that the NCAAT is a bit like a crap shoot. If our guy are hot from the perimeter and key players stay outta foul trouble, then yes, we can. If not, and just one team gets hot, then we'll leave too early.

It's so hard to predict the Final Four teams, especially without knowing the bracket, since the consensus "best" teams in the country have only made the Final Four in 2008... not that I would put money on UT getting a 1 seed at this point.

If Tennessee has some sort of come-to-Jesus and starts playing like they did at the beginning of January, I would be surprised if they didn't make the Final Four. However, that's a pretty tall order. There aren't many teams that worry me too much on a neutral court, though, if we can just shore up a few things (and, for what it's worth, LSU is absolutely not one of them).

Honestly, I don't see us doing any better than the sweet 16. Maybe it's BVS. We've just lost that "edge" that made us so special early in the year. So far I've seen little evidence that we're close to getting that edge back. Until we do I see us as vulnerable.

Won't know till the bracket is filled out and we see who they have in their region. They have the talent, coaching, and skill to get there, yes. But if they run into a Kentucky or Duke or someone in the Elite Eight, then I don't necessarily like their chances.

I’m supporting these guys regardless. Carried themselves well, represent the University well and play hard. The only pressure they have as far as I’m concerned is their own.

I’ve lived 64 healthy years thus far, go back following the Vols to when Red Robbins and Jimmy Cornwall played. My life won’t change if they make the Final Four or not. I hope they do for their own sake.

Final 4? This team reminds me of Virginia 2018. We could lose First Round with the way they get exposed on D from the arc. We all know how much long-shot seeds like to shoot from the arc....they light it up.

Who knows? Very dependent on matchups. We’re certainly an elite 8 quality team, which +/- just 1 game could have us in the F4. Anyway I don’t think there’s any 1 team you can bank on making the final 4 - and that’s true at this point in most years

Don’t think so. Defense, rebounding and recent inconsistency on offense (if it continues) will be our undoing.

Absolutely. This team didn’t all of a sudden get stupid. Their lull came before tournament time. Let’s see how they respond Wednesday night.

Going to play at least 2 top 10 teams back to back to make the final 4. Games that will be a toss up at best. No one could possibly predict the outcome accurately. I hope we get to see those games!

I’d bet those games will be more fairly called. IMO three times this year we have been hit with BAD calls at critical times. Grants 4th vs Kansas killed us. he was unstoppable down the stretch in that game. If he plays the OT we win. Kentucky got to mug us all night, and the no call on Washington for pushing Admrial to the ground at 19:15. 2 fouls in the first minute puts him on the bench. He was their offense the first 12 minutes. If he’s called for that second foul we win! Do I even need to mention the LSU game?

5 on 5 this team can be unbeatable! If our guards can hit their 3’s. No team in the country can beat us. If we have a couple of guys (I won’t mention their names) go 1-14 We are very beatable!

don't get discouraged by the so called rankings...yea have not been playing great right now, but at this point this team has done a lot this season...you'll have the ups and downs. I personally think that once the tournament gets here we will have a renewed energy and will be more focused. This season is way too long. All teams...go up and down, basketball is that way. Let's just get past the SEC tournament and work on beating UK, if we do that at home, I think we will find ourselves again! I think they'll have a nice run in the tournament.
