You diminish a players talent and hard work by assuming only a single, legendary( in your mind), defensive coach could have gotten berry to a top five pick. I think chavis or Beamer, or Mack, or any coach worth his salt "gets" him to a high first round. I don't discredit his god given ability or work ethic by attributing his success to any single man save himself.

LMAO. Your comment shows how little you know about me. I try to avoid expressing my strong opinions in VN because they sometimes result in World War III & it's just not worth the hassle.

No, I didn't really care for Monte's defense at UT either. (Ole Miss game was a disaster.)

I commented earlier because I thought your "more wrong" statement was pretty funny. :hi:

Billy if your comment was in jest I appologize, the short comments sometimes are taken wrong. Again if no "smart" response was intended I truly appologize.

I too seldom post because of the same reason. Been a member since 2008 and just went over 100 posts if that tells you anything.

I don't care if others disagree but these one line zingers some choose to use because they can hide behind a keyboard keep a lot of people from posting.

You are correct Chavisut I need to follow my own advise, it was another poster.

I extend the same appology to you if your initial comment wasn't a "smart remark" but instead an opinion.

As I basically said to Billy earlier a lot of people don't post because the board has so many who don't want to have a football related conversation but a "p*ssing contest.

I would rather someone come back with the fact that they disagree and why, not make personal attacks on the other poster, and even if we don't agree we can still be part of the "UT Fan Family"....

I know from personal experience how sometimes we hear things in our head that doesn't always transfer to text.

Just please try to think before posting negative on someone because you never know who might have a tidbit of information everyone would like to hear but say nothing for fear of being ridiculed for being wrong.

You do get high marks for knowing who Billy Antrim was. Billy the Kid was and still is a hero to the Hispanic population here in Lincoln County for his fight against the crooked establishment at that time. He was a cold-blooded killer, but I admire what he did in his short life. (No, I'm not Hispanic!)
