I wouldn't feel bad for him. He missed out on that golden opportunity that is Charlotte. He is thanking his lucky stars.

BUT, with Two high volume outside shooters now, there may not be enough balls to go around. Could be looking for a defensive ace. You never know he might be able to wink at a situation that appeals to him. I will just sit back and watch.

Trying to figure out what I just read…

We think DK is going to pout and mail it in the rest of the season because he’s mad he has to go back to the Lakers and hone his game and pick the brain of two All-Time greats everyday and have a shot to win a title rather than going to play for the Charlotte Hornets?

Jack Flaherty was so pissed the Tigers didn’t want him and traded him to the Dodgers that he re-signed with them this offseason.
I bet it’s just to sabotage and stick it to them

I don't know about all this business, but Dalton definitely looked subdued being back in LA. Just chilling on the bench in warmup gear. It's awkward for everyone around the situation, I'm sure. But I definitely wouldn't blame DK for any of it. He was the hottest thing in the NBA for a month, then his role seemed to be reduced, _then_ he was traded to somewhere he probably would have gotten a larger presence, and then he was pulled back to place that's likely still looking to shop him. It's just an unstable situation for him.

I think he said it best when he was interviewed after that 37 point game - "I just want to hoop." I don't think Knecht's going to be unprofessional about the matter, but from his quotes and his attitude, I have to think he wants the situation behind him, and wants to be somewhere where he can play, show his stuff, and be a real contributor.

With the Hornets contacting the NBA league office to dispute the failed physical of Williams, he probably doesn’t know where he will be one day to the next at the moment.

I feel bad for DK. You can't feel valued by a team that initiates a divorce, brings you back, and you know that another divorce is likely looming in the future. That's a lot o deal with in your rookie year.

I honestly respect Bev's craft and dedication to it, but like you said, this kind of discussion is not in his ballpark.

I wonder how he is viewed by his peers off the court...is he a likeable guy even though he's nutty on the court? Idk, I'm not a Bev historian
