DK back to Lakers....

In the situation he is in now, his minutes will diminish. Unfortunately he may be lucky to get up to 10 minutes per game unless they are blowing someone out or unless there is an injury. There is no way he will be on the floor with both Luka and Reaves at the same time as defensively they would be horrid.

LeBron’s defense is poor now as well. Without a center their rebounding stats are going to be a problem. At best DK may be 9th in rotation and could be 10th. If he is 10th he may not get any minutes at all. Just needs to keep his head down, keep improving his game and hope he lands in a better spot next year. Clearly the Lakers have already pre-determined his is gone at some point. Only way he stays in my opinion is if Reaves gets hurt and DK balls out as his replacement. DK is a big value for anyone due to salary which may be what helps him the most next year.

It is obvious you don’t watch the NBA with your ridiculous statements about Lebron and this trade.
Are you saying Leflop doesn't tell organizations what to do?
Are you saying is respects the game, the officials, teammates?
Are you saying the Lakers drafted Bronny on their own accord?
Are you saying he isn't the king of the flop? You saying he plays hard every game?
Are you saying it isn't an arrogant a**hole to call yourself the greatest ever?

I think he’s saying LeBron definitely read the Malcom X book and your racist for saying he’s anything other than great 🤷‍♂️

That has got to be awkward. The deal was rescinded for some reason. DK has got to have hard feelings, knowing they gave up on him.
Hard feelings? Its a business hes a rookie making good money. He should be happy the deal fell through and he doesn't have to play for the Hornets, he's back on a winning team with Luka and Lebron and Austin Reaves.

Yeah he's a top 3 player of all time of course the ownership and GM are gonna want his input. I do believe he did not know about the Luka trade and he definitely didn't ask for it, it was just a too good to pass up situation. Everyone knew the Lakers were going to draft Bronny, but 2nd round picks are a dime a dozen in the NBA.

You can't speak on his play, because admittedly, you don't watch. It's always the people that "don't even watch".....

Business decisions can hose people. Imagine if you business decided to move the office 90 miles away to save $200 on office lease. Either take a 90 mi ute daily commute or start over at a new company.

You just got hosed for $200
You may set a record for awful takes in a single thread. Knecht isn’t going to lose any respect in the locker room or organization. You act like these dudes are middle school kids. They’re adults, it’s their job, they are professionals. They understand it’s a business. No, Bronny doesn’t take minutes from Knecht, he spends most of his time playing in the G League. LeBron has been complimentary of Knecht consistently, including his time at Tennessee. Just say you hate LeBron or the lakers or both and quit trying to justify your non-sense with these fantasy takes and call it a day.

Most of us who don't watch, use to watch a lot when it was basketball. When they played defense, and didn't shoot 60 threes a game. Most stopped watching because of guys like Leflop

Plus he is nowhere near top 3
MJ, Kobe, Wilt, Bill Russel, West, Kareem just to name a few.

Talk about his stats all you want. Leflop has played almost 1600 games. 200 more than Kobe, 600 more than Wilt, 700 more than Jerry West, 800 more than MJ

Finals record. One of these is not like the other
Bill Russel 11-1
MJ 6-0
Kobe 5-2
Kareem 6-4
Leflop 4-6

Never lost a finals
Tom Havlicek
K.C. Jones,
Robert Horry,
Tom Sanders,
MJ, never even went to a game 7

Really everyone in the NBA is a professional? Jimmy Butler in Miami was a professional who just happen to miss a team flight? Kyrie is a professional?
Think there aren't guys like that on every team you are being nieve to the 10th degree.

DK has gone from 20 minutes a game to just barely more than 10. And with Luka and Reeves, those minutes will also be reduced.

P.S. Leflop helped ruin the NBA to a lot of fans.lebron_james_flop.jpg

MJ played over 1k games. But so what? I'm not even a LeBron lover, Kobe is my personal GOAT, but I can at least recognize him for what he is. I mean that Cavs team he took to the Finals he pretty much did single handily. His performance against Detroit will probably never be duplicated.

So you condone the flop? 6'8 265 lbs and cannot be touched without a foul called, dominating is easy.

Let Leflop play when MJ did, or the beginning of Kobe's time.....

Let him drive the lane into Bill Lambeer taking his head off and see how he acts after that.

I do hate LeBron, I hate LeBron because of what he has done to the game, how he acts on the court, how he gets into politics with stupidity, how he calls himself the greatest (none of his peers agree)

EDIT: there are a few players who has said he is the best, most played with him and a couple really hate MJ. But the HOFers say MJ is the goat

Just for the record, Bill Laimbeer said, “I firmly believe LeBron James is the best basketball player in the history of the game.”

So has, Isaiah Thomas, Paul Pierce, Jason Kidd, Eddie Johnson, just to name a few. There’s a ton more who are actually on record calling him the greatest.

While, I don’t personally think it’s that clear, the “none of his peers agree” is blatantly false, there’s many both current and past who have gone on record saying it.

I would cast a tie breaking vote, but have not really followed the NBA since Dr. J retired.

Not about being sensitive, its about getting screwed and knowing the organization doesn't really want you there.
Think the lockerroom will have the same respect for him? Think they will look at him the same way or will they wish the failed physical would not have happened?

Also his next contract will be based on his current production. How much PT do you think he is gonna get? Probably way less than he was before, so now this situation is hosing his future as well
You have an absurd take. Its a business. They all understand it. They appreciate DK for what he's worth. So do the Lakers. You sound really lost

How hard are you gonna work knowing your company is gonna get rid of you in a couple months?

I don't have to make those decisions, if you don't understand the business decision aspect of this then you have some growing up to do. Nothing personal... Examples, Henry to the Ravens, AJ Brown to the Eagles. Not saying they were not bad decisions but they were for the Titans. Great for both players.

Such a childish argument and not worth the time of day. When you know all the ends and outs, then post it. IOW sounds like you are more b**t hurt than most. DK is not going to go back to the Lakers with the attitude you wish for if he wants to stay in the system. So, suck it up, buttercup!

It better be pretty hard or you're going to find yourself out of the league. Your take is far too emotional. Knecht is an asset to the Lakers, not a family member. This should motivate him, not drive him toward bitterness and laziness.

What would you define as the Lakers biggest need after the trade of their 5? Bet they figured it out without Luca’s input TOO.

What was their most marketable asset to fill that void? He was not a throw in.

Probably a good bet he yet gets traded for another 5, but maybe a better landing spot for him.

Since Brony hit his first 3, and Daddy is still there, eliminating the competition for minutes is in play also. Some franchise may try to take advantage of the entire situation and get a bargain. Fit is fit.
The trade deadline was last week
