There IS a generation that loved the prequels. However they were little kids at the time and didnt bitch in chat rooms like adult star wars fans did at the time.

I don’t know if there will be a generation that loves the sequels in the same way. I used to see a lot of Reys and Kylos at Halloween though. My kids love the Mando corner and will definitely hold onto that as they get older as “their Star Wars”.

Yeah but to be fair...many bitched about ROTJ; the Ewoks at least.

Now see, I call ******** revisionist history on that. Back in 1983, I distinctly remember the Ewoks being beloved by fans back then when ROTJ came out. Ewok toys were one of the hottest selling/most sought after Christmas toys that holiday season. It wasnt until the internet came along in the 90"s did I hear fans bitching about Ewoks
