On one hand I like the easy transferral of tickets. Makes sending them to my family nice and easy.

On the other I somewhat dread having to help some of them get this figured out.

I do think this will be interesting especially for night games. If you tailgated all day or go to a bar make sure to keep track of battery level on phone.
I read that you can visit the ticket office, show them your ID and provide the order number, and you should be ok.

That info wasn’t communicated by the school however. That’s just generic guidance from Ticketmaster.

They used the new ticket system the other night at Luke Bryan at the arena. Things went fairly well. They have been used a few times to get things ready for football.

Boy, he makes it look and sound so easy.

Inevitably, it won’t be. Too many people, too many malfunctions, delays will be ridiculous, etc.

All this new technology in the world that theoretically improves your life, generally doesn’t.

Here comes the cluster **** of all cluster****’s.

At a grocery store or department store self checkout, what is the malfunction percentage you encounter that requires employee intervention?

Mine has to be at least 33%, and the clerk gets in no hurry to resolve the issue.

Imagine 100k all trying to use these things within an hours time. Yikes.

Wonder if the natives in line might get restless when Joe Blow has an issue and refuses to leave the scanner and get to the back of the line and to try again?

I just KNOW that I'll...F-this UP!

This could be the most screwed up system I have ever seen. Way too many opportunities for things to go wrong. It is pretty difficult for a scammer to get my paper tickets from my pocket. I will be enjoying the game from my Tennessee room downstairs. Get to see reruns and really close to the John. I may never attend another game. My kids and grand kids will be using my tickets in the future. No donation above what is required to purchase the tickets. If that increases, no more tickets for me.

They will just take him/her off to the pokey where he/she will miss the entire game. pay a fine, and get home Sunday morning. I wonder if the tickets will be cheaper next year because they do to have to send them UPS?

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it's a complete CF getting into the stadium in a week.

Hope I'm wrong.

As previous posters have said, Titans and Preds have been doing it for years. Not that big a deal. I’m sure there will be some small issues but that can happen with paper tickets too. For instance, you wont leave your tickets at home like you can with paper tickets.

Your 4 tickets are all pulled up. Scan 1st ticket, swipe right, scan 2nd ticket, swipe right....

It shouldn't be too much of an issue after the 1st game and people get the hang of it.
