Your Wrong, go look again, I have posted it before ...Hart said he didn't pick his Coaches assistants .That was not how you built trust with the Head Coach! ...You guys will make up excuse after excuse to defend Mr Couldn't win any where!

and i think DD said his talk about a buyout was absurd

Dooley said in his post game press conference (SC) that he spends zero time in the defensive meeting rooms and that he spends 100 percent of his time with the offense and with special teams.

Well, we are getting killed on defense.

Shouldn't the HEAD COACH be in the rooms where the problems are?

David Blackburn.

Dooley wanted Sal and made the push, Hart blessed it.

Sorry but Dooley made the choice.

I not saying DD wasn't forced to make the choice.

He is the head coach unless he's not >>>> which is up to Hart.

What am I missing?

Damn... you will break there hearts with facts bro..go easy on them

The transition from 43 to 34 does not explain the UK debacle. We have a problem at the core. The pieces and enough talent are there this year to keep us close but the difference maker is coaching.

Coaches left because of Dooley's style. Again this is a fact. How do I know because I heard it from the mouths of some of the horses. Anyway, I am out of this thread as it will turn into a childish yelling match.

horses meaning players or assistants?

hell any input from the players here >>>> in my thread will be honored and anybody that claims that will be honored

But i would add...We've pretty much been running a 4-3 anyway, AND, we don't have enough speed in the back four.

So To Defend the ole beloved Bear Dooley we have now skipped the whole 2013 season :peace2:

2012 was never relevant to begin with, anyone who thought otherwise while predicting 8-4 pre-season isn't living in reality. Most of us saw this season for what it was. Put a system in place, put some points up on offense and keep our major SEC games a 60 min. fight, and get recruits. Anyone who thinks that just because there is a power T on the side of those helmets means they're entitled to a National Championship every year is deluded about where we were in 2010 and where we are now. People hated Dooley from the start because he wasn't Jon Gruden, but that's their problem. Some of us are realistic and can see the foundation being put in place. 2013 we can and should go 9-3, how is that overlooking?

Many Vol fans need to get over themselves with calling Dooley supporters out for accepting mediocrity or being complacent. Those same fans dislike Dooley because they confuse being a realist for making excuses and they confuse people recognizing the reality of our situation as complacent. I'm willing to spend 3-5 years digging ourselves out of a mess that took 10+ years to get into, if we do we'll be much better for it as a program and as a fanbase.

No I saying I want Hart's ass fired for giving Sal a 3 year contract

Unless he fires Sal now and gives DD the vote of confidence.

Totally agree, Heart IMO is more responsible for Sal's hire then DD. He's hiring from the couch. Sal needs to go. DD stays.

Wilcox jumped ship as quick as he could...he didn't want to coach in the SEC...the main reason was every irrational fan calling for Dooley to be canned...from day one...he got scared....

The excuses for Dooley have to stop. I gave him multiple chances, dude just isn't a very good coach. Time to move on

The changes in coaching every time we have pain have to stop. You need to give them one more chance barring lousy year finish. He is improving. One more year of patience.:peace:

The facts below happened after having a "DC" given to Dooley by Hart.

This DC has put the worst defense EVER to wear the orange on the field week after week.

Consider above and below and you tell me who needs to be fired.

we lost to a #2 at home (muschump was desperate enough to fake punt, then....)

we lost to a #5 on the road by 7 (did we have 1 stop on D in the first half?)

we lost to a # 11 on the road (did we have one stop on D in the first half?)

we lost to a #1 (2012 MNCs)

and we lost to a # 3 on the road by 3

Cherry picking your ranking aren't you. FL was not #2 when we played them and not #2 today. Same goes for MSU and SC.

In FL's case, they were very vulnerable when we played them. The win over us, gave them momentum going forward and they got better each week.

I'm not disagreeing about our defense being the worst TN has ever fielded. I just hate when people use outdated rankings to make their "facts" seem more credible.

Fair or not, Dooley is gone. He had to beat someone that mattered this year. He didn't do it.

Our Defense is terrible. We have some talent on D, but not nearly enough. We are slow, undisciplined, and take horrible angles. Players have poor technique, and are out of position.

Ultimately, this falls on CDD, but the Defensive coaches have failed miserably this year. Lack of talent is part of it, but the D plays slow, with bad technique, and terrible fundamentals. The DL is about where I expected them, but the LB's and secondary are simply awful.

and yet, everybody was raveing about AJ and Kurt last year.did they get bad over the off season?

No no, no its not.

It's time to hold who is responsible, responsible.

Hell i'll take Gruden,

but I don't want to hear anybody give Hart credit for that.

You would have to give Hart all the credit for ensuring Dooley would fail to get his guy in. Hart brought in the DC, The defense has been our problem child and will ultimately be what gets Dooley fired. Can't give credit/blame to anyone other than Hart.
