Ahh, those were the classic days of the Internet.

A little after the Netscape Navigator days, but good none the less.

I see your Netscape, and raise you one of these...

Napster was badass. I still have it and a few hundred songs on an old computer.

And I don't remember those rumors. I was 20 and in school.

Lol. Btw. How does ur username read. AJ eray 4 Tn, or A. Jeray 4 Tn? Always wondered.

I suppose it was meant to read A. Jeray, but usually ends up the latter. Both are perfectly acceptable. Most people assume the other since my name is A.J.

i was online before most of you were born. The 90's were the glory days of the internet, it was young, wild and free, it was back before the government was involved and most people had enough sense not to put their real name on the interwebs.

It seems like i remember the fulmer rumor.

Thanks for answering. Like I said, always wondered.

There is a cat on here named KevinYaHeard, everytime I see my boss at work I want to call him that.

I was 19. Napster was awesome back then when I was in college.. Want a song? Just pull a download from 3-4 users and in a few minutes you got it. Downloaded many a song in my dorm room during that time. Good ol days

Good God. I was 46.

* goes to cut wrists *

(and no, I have no memory whatsoever of this supposed meltdown in 2000, but I guess that's to be expected, huh)

Well add me to the list of posters that started tread about something that didn't happen. I swear I remember it but I am old enough to worry that my mind might be failing me.

Man...bringing back some memories. Time changes fast. Now I can pull a song onto my iPhone in about 5 seconds. Of course I have to pay for it

Way too fast. I could have never pulled up Volnation, while driving, on my Motorola StarTAC.
