Does he have them playing dodge ball in the afternoons? Would explain a lot.
Can't play dodge ball anymore, not PC. Can't have kids getting their feels hurt by getting savagely pummeled by air filled rubber balls....

Who himself is another gump. The two most important coaches on the team are gumps! Gumps, running Tennessee football...gumps! Let that sink in.
Yup. I was ripped when we hired Pruitt and said this same thing. Sabans disciples don’t add up to success.

In Pruitt’s 3rd year the Vols look like the worst or next to worst team in the SEC, success is fleeing Jeremy Pruitt’s grasp, isn’t it?

Hard to develop when Pruitt ran off all the developmental coaches.

He lost Fitz and just like Jones he promoted from within. S&C has obviously suffered. Rocker is arguably one of the best teachers and developers. He ran him off for a “recruiter” who was let go after four games. Ansley is invisible. Pruitt has refused to hire a veteran, proven DC. The defense is horrid. Awful. Terrible.

Friend is arguably doing less with more than any coach in the SEC.

Not much to disagree with here

I’m afraid what your seeing at UT is the new norm, at least it has been for the last 2 decades and counting

It’s even worse than a Saban disciple thing. Pruitt and his entire clan are lifelong gumps. Friend is a lifelong gump. I’ll take a Saban disciple as long as they aren’t lifelong gumps.

You can bet they’ll come out on fire for Aub, that’s who those guys want to beat more than any team.

You do realize Bill Battle was, as you put it, a "gump". Please tell me you're not one of the crazies that think Pruitt and Friend, I guess, are here to secretly sabotage Tennessee football...

Of course not, just their hearts not being in it. Money and all is great but gump fandom runs deep in that cult.

Uh, battle took a NC level team and destroyed it within four years. What point are you trying to make here.

His first four years seemed pretty successful but I'm sure he "destroyed" us for Alabama.

I'm sure that's it. His "heart is not in it" because he's at Tennessee and not Bama... You know there's probably some other reason(s) ranging from maybe things were way worse than we realized when he took over, to he's just not good HC material.

You’re ignorant. Dickey had built an absolute monster. Battle destroyed it
Jesus dude, pull your panties out of your crack. I'm NOT disagreeing with you that we went downhill during his time, just the implication it had something to do with him being from bama. He just wasn't a good coach..
