I'll be on tonight around 9:30-10. I'm more than happy to run the raid. BigDaddy would make 4. I'm sure we can find 2 more folks on our lists or lfg...

I'm probably going to be playing from 6-10 tonight in crucible to start getting tuned back up, but if anyone needs another raid member I'd be down, still missing a couple 335 pieces. Gigglenshnizer is the psn, try to put VOLS in the text for a friend request, I get several from pvp people I'd rather not accept.

I thought I was doing good getting 336 exotic boots for my Titan and Hunter until I starting looking at other people's character, seeing 338, 339 drops for others.
I guess I'm way behind....
Last night, got (2) 335 exotic head gear for warlock besides the boots for Titan and Hunter.
Also a 335 Dragon Breath,(3) 335 primary Treads, 335 exotic shotgun, 335 cape for Hunter.
I know I got a few more things, actually some 334 exotic drops also.
I have never received this many drops, especially exotics!

I'm just running heroic strikes...:hi:

I kept my calendar pretty much clear. I'll be playing. Not sure when I'll start, but I'm looking forward to tomorrow and this weekend.

Nope, it's exactly more Destiny which is ok by me. It has a great mix of shooter/loot/puzzle aspect to it. Add the teamwork needed for raids-fun game

Did the new raid a couple times yesterday. It's a bit different and pretty fun right now. Teamwork required but it's not as intricate as KF.

Fun now but I have mixed feelings. Don't want to spoil anything but I did want to recommend folks try it. Good stuff first times through.

In other words it's the same exact thing as before? Let me guess, you have to bring the boss shield down, while focusing on adds. Then you damage the boss. Rinse and repeat?

Well, let's be honest, that's pretty much any MMO or final boss in the history of video games.

The story was pretty fun......I love swinging that big axe around! The new social space is awesome. I will have to run the new strike and gain some more light before attempting the new raid.

It must be the gang activity that makes this one different. I hear that's what made the cosmodrome go broke

I didn't get started on ROI until Saturday night after game.
Just been running one character, my hunter. Got him up to 351 light.
Did some crucible yesterday and 2 other characters were already at 367 light.
I'm assuming they have run Raid to get their light this high??!!!!

LL is different this time around. Your drops will always be within 2 or 3 of your light (or equal or worse).

To get to 365, grind the Heroic playlist. Every strike you will get 2 blue drops from the boss. Equip these or infuse. Next time, do the same. You slowly go up in light. (or, do archon priest / sepics prime on 320 by picking the strike, not from the playlist; those drop blues up to 365. There's also an omnigul cheese to farm blues.) These blue drops max at 365.

If you don't equip or infuse and stay at the same light, your drops will never increase.

Same goes for the raid. Gear there drops the same way. Max is 3 or 4 above your current LL.

The LL of these drops are determined when you pick them up. After a strike (or before you open a raid chest, accept a faction package, crucible rewards, etc) make sure your highest light gear is equipped before picking up the drops.

It's much more 'grind-y' IMO. Once you hit 365, only way to level up is through exotic engrams, strike loot caches, crucible rewards, faction and vanguard packages, raid drops and eris rank up.

I believe max light is current 384? Maybe 385. I've seen plenty 380+.

Thanks for the info, I now have Hunter up to 354,
367 is still the highest LL I've seen. :hi:
