You didn't really miss anything. New guns are there to try out and level up the gunsmith. You can purchase new packages until Xur leaves.

Packages carry over with new perks each week. So, you can actually hang on to those and wait for different perks next week. One of the snipers options this week had firefly on it.

Higher your rank with the gunsmith is, the more choices you get each week with your delivered weapons.

I let my son play some with my character........so if you see me in crucible or a low level strike running around meleeing enemys and doing random stuff that looks crazy it is probably him. If not sure then send me a message and I will let you know if it I am on.....I have ps app on my phone.

Played some Court of Oryx last night and got a better artifact.......boosted me up to 289.........really destiny? lol

The taken war quest earth...the boss that appears in the rocketyard is a beast....we try ed with 3 people last night and couldn't beat him in the time allowed.....I nicknamed him Tony Danza cause he is the BOSS!!!!

Try to walk into that area instead of using you bike or running. You will have a better chance of having ransoms there

beat the nightfall last night. being a titan with the bubble shield made me the most popular dude there. got a 300 legendary hand cannon turns out it is worse than my 300 rare hand cannon I also picked up lol. legendary marks!

also finally got my Truth up to year 2 levels, starting to level it now.

Unfortunately, the nightfall was given the ultimate nerf in Taken King and not really with the effort any more. I've only done 1 or 2 since Taken King because it takes too long for crap rewards.

i was lucky because the group running it got frustrated and broke up on the boss. I was friends with one of the guys left. It got a lot easier once my team realized the benefit of the bubble shield.

Imo on those type game styles there is more benefit in having a super that keeps you alive than one to kill.

My best reward to date are from grinding strikes using three of coin.

It wasn't nerfed, it just wasn't changed. Vault, Crota, and POE are only going to drop year 1 gear/weapons.

I had a windfall yesterday. Completed the raid, got to 300+ on a character who then got a 310 exotic armor arms. Those made my Hunter 300+ and then he got a 310 Supercell.

Ran all but Oryx on the hunter last night but no weapons, just a class item.

Still, twas a fun day.

POE was my go to. i am sad to see it go to the wayside.
