The weekly was much worse for me. The matchmaking has made it harder. Last weekly I did th the other two guys kept running out in the open and getting killed. When I would try to revive them I would die and we would have to start the Omnigul fight all over.

When it was over I had 330+ kills, they had a combined 150.

Ok so I'm almost level 9 and I can't do crucible without getting thrown in with insanely high leveled players. Every time I spawn I'm getting destroyed. Everyone else is in the high 30's.

If it's outside of the Iron Banner, your rank isn't supposed to make a huge difference. The game sort of balances things out, although your weapon selection is much smaller.

I don't play crucible so I'm just going by what I've read.

Story mode and grinding to level 20 is part 1. Grinding to Vanguard rank (or a crucible faction) to rank 2 and buying gear is part 2. Get to 27 and start running Crota's End raid to get your level 32 gear.

And after you run a raid, if you're really going stick with Destiny, you'll start thinking about making a second character...and a third. Keep at it. New DLC in a couple months should be fun. Get yourself ready.

I forgot I'm talking to someone that solo'd it. Didn't you Rosen? Makes sense then if he can find people that mastered it. I never found many groups that could run it easily with a full six people.

Yeah, normal isn't too bad if you have 3 people. There's a spot in the Ogre room that the low guy can stand on and distract the boomers. That specific spot will work about 95% of the time. I usually do sword and someone with a ghorn takes him down with 2 rockets.

I think now that I'm fairly familiar with it, 2 players would be ok. Send the other to the distraction point. I'll take care of the rest. Not ideal and will probably take some tries, but it could be done.

We did VoG last night with friends. It was fun. Enjoyed that.

Had the best armor drops of the game so far for me yesterday. Two raid pieces, and about 5 legendary engrams that all were weapons or armor. Ranked up fast, thanks to Rosen for the raid pieces.

Last night I did a strike with two other randoms that were actually working together with me. It was awesome. Fought one of those crab things and yeah they are a pain lol.

This game truly is fun when you play with people that work together. I see how people could find it repetitive because I kind of felt ehh, but it's a blast with guys that help. Trying to get leveled enough to join you guys.

I think you'll like it once you get through the grind. If you can get a couple characters leveled up by House of Wolves that'll be great. Looking forward to doing the new raid with all volnation people.

Really, once you get your first character to 27ish, the 2nd and 3rd are much quicker. You just have to grind the 10 or so hours to get through the story. Then you'll swap armor and weapons between them.

Here's a question I have; is it better to just go straight through the story missions and kill enemies as you go? Just to get through them?

I generally spend forever on one mission because I run around in one area going from spawn point to spawn point killing fallen trying to get a lot of kills. This is making my story go very slow though.

If your doing the story solo, you pretty much have to kill everything. If you just run through it you'll reach a point where your level is too low.

Make sure you're doing bounties.

Oh yeah I am. I guess I should clarify. I literally kill everything, wait a minute for more to spawn then kill them all again. I repeat this quite a few times in each area. I usually end up with like 300 kills per mission when if I just go straight through it would be more like 133.

That's overkill. Just kill them the one time and move on.

I actually like the strike.
The Omnigal nightfalls & weekly's that can be a B!%&H.
Went into the weekly with 2 randoms on Omnigal the other day, it was arc damage I believe.
They left the room before we even got started. Thought I would try it myself.
Got through it but it took about 45mins. 350 kills, didn't die once, I did have my warlock so I could res if needed.
Even when there's arc damage, the Ghorn solar burn is the weapon.

Finally got Word of Croto and got a new ship from duing the raid on hard.
Can't remember the whole name, something of GOD. I'm sure all of you have had these items for awhile.
Also got another IceBreaker on the same drop.
At least my 7th IceBreaker from drops.
