The worst part is that the one thing I was excited to buy from him was the contrail that makes your sparrow a legendary and makes it zoom zoom faster.

Then I saw that they are releasing a brand new sparrow in the DLC, making my badass orange sparrow obsolete.

Screw you, Bungie!!!

I just spent 175 Vanguard marks on that sparrow. How could you do me like this, Bungie! The new sparrow doesn't even come in orange! It has some lame flame paint job that makes it looks like a Mexican lowrider. Maybe Xur will sell some LED ground effects for it.

If they add Sparrow shaders and allow me to have a white sparrow with orange flames, all will be forgiven.

Oh, they also nerfed the hell out of Thorn, right before I complete the bounty lol. I have 3 exotic hand cannons, so I probably wouldn't ever use it anyway.

The new "mexican" sparrow is available now if you have the expansion pack. If you buy the season pass, it'll be waiting at the post office at the tower.

I've ran it 20 to 30 times and not one piece of raid gear. Got Chatterwhite about 6 different times. I always get a gun that I already have. Most of my buddies like 1 piece of gear to be a 30........

That's nuts.

I didn't get raid gear until my 4th trip, I think. Now, 4 or 5 more trips later, I have 3 pairs of boots and 2 chest pieces. Just need the arms for 30. I have not done Hard Mode yet. I've got a bunch of the weapons and multiples of some.

Freak is the opposite. He's run it 4 or 5 times and has all the gear but no guns.

Ran the hard mode twice, made it to the second boss and that's it.....lol My Hunter is half way between level 29 & 30, leveled all the way up. My Titan is a 29 but only a quarter of the way to 30, everything leveled up. I'm working on a warlock now, got him at level 18 but I have a chest plate and gloves in the vault to level him up when I get to 20.

If you run the hard mode you better have at least four level 30's. Once you die you can not be revived. Either your team makes it to the next stage for you to come back or everyone dies and you start from where you left off...

Just beat hard mode and got my helmet. I was sick of waiting for Xur to have a helmet.

Hard mode is no joke. It took us about 3.5 or 4 hours. I'm not running it again until I have fully leveled raid primary weapons.

Were better drops part of the patch? I'm getting legendary drops multiple times a day now, where I had gotten only a few beforehand.

I'm not complaining.

after i got the expansion pass and got the new sparrow, i was checking on the special orders lady and the tumbler sparrow was for sale for like 50 glimmer , so i bought another for my hunter, already have timebreaker for my warlock.. check the special package place if you havent lately

I saw that, too. Makes me feel silly about paying 175 vanguard marks for a rare sparrow and 23 coins for a stealth drive last week.

I'm one shard away from level 30. I could dismantle my queens guard helm but i want to keep it since it was from a special event. I could also dismantle my other pair of raid boots, but i may want to level them up now that there's nothing else to spend shards on.

Had my first decent reward raid. Got VoC, Praedyth's Revenge, and Hezen Vengeance.

Still no raid armor. Been doing Iron Banner all week and bought the gauntlets and leg armor. Just need a helmet or a chest piece.

How much Iron Banner did you have to play to earn enough rep to be able to purchase those items?

I think it's 2400 per level. Leg armor is level 3. Gauntlets level 4.

Buying and equipping the shader million million and the emblem gives you a rep bonus for playing and bounties. Supposedly the mark does also.

And make sure to buy the buff for one mote of light. It's supposed to be at its strongest neat the end of iron banner.
