Hunter is by far the best in PvP, both golden gun and bladedancer are essentially 3-5 kill supers. But the supers are AS useful in pve.

Titan defender is very useful in pve but warlocks tend to have good supers. The self ressurection is fantastic in the nightfall strikes and the VoG

I hate running into hunters in PvP way over powered.

No way hunters are op. They are the hardest pvp character in the game. It is an agreed upon statement by every player I know that has multiple characters. I love em but the hunters supers will not one shot another character using a super. Unlike the titan strike or warlocks nova bomb. A common joke I made up "I don't always get a kill with the golden gun, but when I do it's the only one I get."

Btw even after the nerf, the regime is still powerful. It's not about damage but the stability. Only gun that can be held wide open and peg the head with every shot.

It takes a fiat smash or nova bomb to kill a bladedancer on their super. It's almost the only way to kill them.
Titans and warlocks can easily be killed during their super with normal gunfire. Titans are probably the worst PvP character to play with.

Yep, my titan gets killed plenty of times when I am using my super. You can't use it head to head with a guy.... need to hit them when they are below you or coming around the corner.

Yea, it's pretty frustrating sometimes trying to use a super and getting killed easily. Hunter's supers are ridiculous in PvP. They can just blade dance and kill everyone even if people are shooting them.

Completely separate from that......the random drops are frustrating. I've run the raid 3 times now, and still haven't gotten any raid armor. My buddy I've run it with has gotten 2 pieces out of his 3 raids. Another friend ran it for the first time and got raid armor.

Feel free to add me P3nTR41t0r. I'll play with all three of my characters and you will see an obvious difference. If you are being killed while using a titans super it's because you have no shields when using it. It's not designed to be defensive (aka using it so you don't die). If you have a shred of shield left activating will boost your shield and give you the time needed to hulk smash. The blade dancer is extremely dangerous but can be taken out one on one if you see them first. Keep in mind it is a super. If you have twenty feet an a steady aim you can easily drop their shields and melee for the kill. Most times you will end up sacrificing yourself but it can be done easily. Just constantly back up with teammates focusing the fire on them and they can't do anything.

It sounds like some of you are experiencing timing difficulties related to lag. There are tons of people on this game and at times ridiculous things happen. It's the only reason a titan shouldn't be able to win a one on one with a blade dancer. The one strike is not enough to kill the titan who is using a super. The shield buff puts the one hit kill out of reach.

If you have problems with the titans pvp abilities switch to the defender.

Don't worry about the raid armor or you will lose you hair. I have beaten it somewhere between 15-20 times and 4 times on hard and I only have the chest piece. I have three found verdicts (shotgun) praedyths revenge, vision of confluence, etc but armor is rare.

The raid is just frustrating to me is all. Like last night for example. You need 6 people......well I don't have 6 friends high enough level. Only me and two others. That means we have to play with randoms.

The first two hours we wasted because the randoms wanted to do it on hard. But we as a group were too underpowered. Only one of us was 29, three 28s and two 27s. We couldn't even get past the first checkpoint with the templar. Finally they realize it's a waste and we start over on normal. So halfway through someone quits when we get to the vault, then we're stuck at 5 meaning we don't make any progress. So we have to wait for 30 minutes for someone's friend to get on that hasn't done the raid for that week. But it turns out the random's friend is more interested in goofing around and isn't really putting much effort into beating it.

We started at 615pm and finished about 2am. And what did I get for it? Some ascendant material. I could get the same amount of ascendant material in less time just doing public events.

Never could get into Fusion rifles. Got a legendary one (Wizard 77) but the only time I use it is when the daily bounty of shooting 2 guys comes up.

I've found fusion rifles to be particularly useful in crucible engagements; the higher end ones are one shot kills at medium range.

My titan striker has the turning radius of a Mac truck; unless I get the drop on someone, I lose most close quarter engagements.

My main strat in PvP is running around, staring at the mini map, and try to time my shoulder charges on unsuspecting targets.

I've pulled off a few mid-air shoulder charges; those are my fav :)

You must of skipped over all the chests if thats all u got. Ive done it 3 times and took maybe a total of 12 hours. Id never do it with randoms. I dont play ps anymore or id add you and you could run it with us

Anyone else getting booted from games?

I've been getting an error: "Could not connect to the destiny servers. Please try again later. If this problem persists, you should troubleshoot your networking setup. For more information visit help.bungie.net and search for error code: monkey"

When that happens I get kicked out of my mission back to the main travel screen.

I heard there was an issue for about 4 hours this morning, they said it was fixed. I have noticed on missions that you quit.get kicked out of it will start you at the last checkpoint.

Just got to 27 so I figured I will be tackling my first weekly nightfall strike

I did the Nightfall and the other 2 guys kept getting disconnected. I never had a single one but they had a 12-15 between them. Cost of us the Nightfall one time. 2 of died and the 3rd guy got disconnected right at the same time.

Speaking of the NF this week, it's not bad but takes some time. On the servitors, don't go into the main area. Stay in the room before you get there and kill everyone from there.

On the Nexus, put 2 guys on the ledge shooting down, and one guy in the tunnel looking back. A Min/Prae will spawn in the tunnel and come down. Guy guarding the back says "Back" and the other 2 join in killing him. Then, back at it. Never have to deal with the guys below once you get the Nexus to appear. Use void grenades and weapons against the spawning guy in the tunnel.

That's the exact strategy I planned to use on it if I can find 2 other people tomorrow night.

Okay, we can do it around 10pm. I usually play 9-11 on Wednesdays. I want to knock it out early in the week this time for the XP bonus. I did it on Sunday this past week, so no XP bonus for me.

I'm level 28. I think I'm going to start saving my ascendant materials for once I can try to get some raid gear. I don't want to waste it on my current stuff only to max out at 29.

I want to try a raid Friday afternoon.

If you start early tomorrow, save your bounties when completed. Turn them in after you finish the NF and have the bonus active. (just in case you didn't think of it)

I'm hoping I'll have the Pocket Infinity's exotic bounty going, too. I need 2 more rare fusion rifles. I'm waiting for the gunsmith to sell them so I can just buy them. Maybe I'll run into 2 more by then, but then the bounty is to kill 100 nightfall enemies with a fusion rifle, I believe. So I want to go ahead and get that active before we start.

I've been checking the gunsmith for the past 3 weeks and still haven't come across rare fusion rifles.

So they changed the raid with today's update. Now for the last battle with Atheon, he randomly transports 3 people to Venus or Mars. Previously, it was the 3 people farthest away.

I don't like the change personally. They say they're doing it because it was supposed to be random all along and it's supposed to be challenging. That's bs. That's not more challenging. That's more annoying. If you aren't experienced doing the raid already, good luck finding random people that will take you with them.

I don't see myself doing the raid much anymore. It feels like a waste of several hours. Now even more so, since I have to do it with random people anyway. I'll probably just settle for being level 29 since it's completely random whether you get raid armor.
