Got a 310 Monte Carlo during the raid last night, got it out of a chest....Been wanting this gun....

Ran 3 NightFalls yesterday and got 310 Thunderlord and 306 boots with my hunter, my other 2 characters didn't really get much...:hi:

I bought Destiny when it first came out, but was pretty let down. Is Taken King worth the buy according to youz guys?

I didn't enjoy it the first time around. I'm having a blast with the taken King. I think it is because I'm less confused on how everything works

The story just sucked and was very short. It had a huge CoD feel to me in the sense that they went way too much for multiplayer than an actual story. But, that's just me. I like in-depth stories.

So would you say it is worth $60? Because I already have the other 2 expansions (bought the season pass along with the game). I may just wait and see if they run a special during the holidays.

I had the game when it first came out and played for about a month. After I level-capped, I felt like it was just too difficult/time consuming to level up your 'light' without doing the multiplayer stuff. Someone can correct me if I'm way off base, but when I picked this up again when Taken King came out, I felt like it was much, much easier to level light and there are significantly more loot drops. This makes it so much easier to catch up to the higher-level guys and encourages me, at least, to jump into the co-op stuff with randoms. You still need a good fireteam to do the high-level raids and strikes, but I feel like the game is much more single-player friendly now.

That's good. I would like to get it, but I think $60 is just too much. I already bought the game and the other 2 expansions. They should have made it $20 for those that already bought it and everything else, imo. Not my fault they murdered the game on the first try, you know? So I am going to wait until it is cheap.

Agreed. It's a shame that someone new to the game can buy TTK: Legendary Edition for 60 and get everything and existing players pay outrageous prices for addons.

If you have the original and the other two expansions then the Taken King is $40. Also, they probably won't reduce the price.

Got all 3 characters through golgoroth on hard mode.. lock ive completed sisters.. they are all st 310 now if I equip my 316 black spindle... 309 if I use touch of malice..

We got to warpriest on hardmode but most of us were low 300s..........I am 302 now and have need 1 more fragment for TOM.

Ran hard mode with my Hunter, we got by the 2 sisters.
Got 315 chest piece and a 315 Ghost. No weapons....
My Hunter is at 308 or 309, it just depends on what I use.

Did heroic strikes and this guy joined us that was level 315. That's the highest rank that I've seen......

Try walking across the section borders. Gives the matchmaking more time to kick in. So land, run to the first room/door you enter, and then walk. I usually check my guns as I get into the second room where you actually switch to Hall of Sorrow or whatever it's called.

Not saying this works every time, but it's worth a shot. If barren, go to orbit and try again. If you're running there's a good chance it doesn't immediately find a game and it starts a new instance with just you. You'll also be taking up 2 more slots, so you can get up to 6 more with you (if 2 fireteams of 3 joined your instance).

And if you're playing with friends, split up and all 3 go to patrol separately. Hopefully one will find one with other people and then the other 2 can join up.

got oryx on hardmode tonight with my warlock then my titan.. 28 to 29 runs first character, about 20 on titan.I would suggest that the plate people be assigned 1, 2, and 3 and move with oryx, 2 permanent floaters on daughters platform, one of which will get a bomb in the same place every time. then a runner, stagger oryx up top kill the ogres from there too, jump down to mid or get bombs.. got 319 shotgun infused into 100 yard stare .. its 317 now.. and a 318 chest for my 2 runs. You need to be a 310 really if youre at oryx.. good luck fellas... its hard
