Level 34 PoE is no joke. You start with a boss fight. Then get another boss fight at 3 I think. Then level 5 is Qodron. He constantly spams you with his nade. Swarms of goblins and yellow bar hobgoblins. Then there is Qodrons Eye. You have to kill him to get a jail breaker buff because you will get detained just like in VOG. Only the person with the buff can break the shields. The Eye is seemingly constantly spawning. So you have to constantly be looking for him.

I just gave up. We ran through the first 4 levels pretty easily and then spent about and hour or so trying to beat the last level.

Ghorn takes the Eye out with one shot if he takes all the damage. Chances are he won't because there are so many adds to deal with. Seemed like shotguns worked well with breaking the shield. That or a machine gun.

Couple of streamers that I watch during work got to round 5 and had to kick the 3rd guy because he went afk. Just so happened they wanted a titan. Enter Jim....

On Qodrons, we did this. I put a WOL bubble dead center right after the opening animation. We all sent 7 ghorn rockets, synth'd, then more rockets. Got him down in 15-20 seconds. I will say we were all 34s.

32 is more enjoyable this week. After struggling with it last week, we get the slightly easier version this week. Cruel jokers those guys are. However, it seems more manageable this week.

Unimpressed with the weapons from PoE. Just queens weapons which are nothing special at all. Haven't run it on 34 yet, but gut feeling is nothing good will come of that either.

Kinda sucks that primaries with elemental are either random drops from beating PoE level 35, or from going 9-0 in Trials of Osiris. I hate all the random bullcrap. Doubt I'll even mess with Trials of Osiris. Maybe once since a friend wants too, but I'm not expecting to do much. Haven't done any PvP since Jan.

If you do have treasure keys you might want to only use one per character per week. I used 4 keys between 2 characters on lvl 28 and 32 and only got an exotic the first ones. Got queens pulse rifle with the 3rd key and queens scout rifle with the 4th key.

I was the only person in my group who had Ghorn and synths. They were both from England, don't know if any of you have ever played with guys from across the pond but they're abject morons. Australians too.

From what I've read and seen, only 35 seems to be different and awards a shader, ship, and banner along with the loot first time. Otherwise, all chests appear to be the same. A queen's weapon, couple other random crap, and a very slight exotic chance (assuming it's not your 1st chest ever).

Easiest way to lvl 34 is do the PoE at 32 each week. Assuming Variks sells different armor each week, it'd take you 3 weeks. You get an armor core for each PoE 32 once a week.

3 pieces of Varik's armor plus an exotic is level 34.

32 is not hard this week and shouldn't take but 30-60 minutes.

By the way, I play late. Like really late. Work 3rd shift. So I usually get on about 1:00 or so on Fridays and even later on Saturdays.

Yea, I've been playing since day 1. Have or had pretty much every rocket launcher in the game at one time or another with the exception of gjallarhorn. It just won't drop for me. I main a couple titans and recently got a warlock up to 33 also.

My buddy has multiple sets of everything except gjallarhorn. Dude runs Vog and Crota on all 3 of his characters almost every week. Like me it won't drop for him.

His son will get it before we do. We run his son through the nightfall/raids, and I've witnessed him getting great drops while we get crap. Last week his kid got an etheric light from the nightfall. Only been playing on weekends for a couple months and he'll be 34 before we are. Lol.

Probably how I'll hit 34 unless I get lucky with etheric light from nightfalls this week. Sucks that all the PoE armor is strength based, but I guess it's better than nothing till I get some etheric light to upgrade some of my raid armor.

RNG sucks and that's coming from someone who has every exotic save the Nechro, which I don't even want.

Oh yea. That and Fatebringer. It finally dropped for me on our last VoG run a couple weeks ago. We didn't even finish. We beat the Templar, Fatebringer dropped, then after we got nothing from the Gorgon chest we all called it quits.

I haven't used auto rifles in forever so I'm looking forward to VoC and Fatebringer. Not much need for any other primary. Would like Word of Crota or Fang of Ur Yut, but never got around to running Crota on hard very much. That was when I quit playing Destiny for a couple months.

Everyone needs a Fatebringer. Even at 300 I still use it as my primary. No other gun can take out a crowd of enemies in a single bullet like the Fatebringer (well, maybe the ghorn but that's different).

In related news, I finally got the Foil to round out my VoG weapons after 50-60 clears on hard last week. I feel your pain.
