Of course! Instead of naming almost anyone else to fill that role at a much cheaper price tag, we negotiated a huge contract for someone Pruitt likes because he wants to tear him down.

This is a bigger sign that Pruitt finally has someone he trusts to call plays. Delegating might not have been the real problem last year because you don’t delegate to someone unless they can do the job and you trust them. That’s why Pruitt ran almost all of Terry Fair’s DB drills last year...little trust. Trust is earned, not just given automatically. Ansley calling the plays means Pruitt found someone worthy of that role that he trusts.
