Im not understanding where youre getting this information. He didnt have child support issues, nor did he almost go to court over them. And he could have stayed if he wanted to. It may have taken a little work but he could have done it and done really well next season.

I am struggling to find one thing about your post that is true.

Probably not, because eligibility would have been the prime factor in staying and it is by no means certain that he would have been eligible. Marvin West wrote an article on Rogan in the Shopper-News publication and academics was pretty candidly mentioned in that article.

He will be working in an assembly line because he was lazy to study and he's not good enough to go to the NFL...
Have fun enjoying the bed you've made for yourself Dennis!

What? He's a moron!
When you have a family and you're not a perennial NFL talent, you gotta go to school and keep your options open!
Football is not going to pan out, so what's he gonna do in life? Live off being a college drop out?
Sorry, he's a moron. He should have thought of his family when he decided to quit going to class...PERIOD!

Ever think that all 3 of those situations happened @ once and his life drastically changed in a period of a year or two? No excusing anything he decided to do or not do, but you act like he can't possibly do anything right ever again. And he's destined for homelessness. Geez, get a grip with that ish. Sure, he clearly made some poor decisions, and he's got some ground to make up. Let's root him on instead of claiming his doom and calling him a worthless burger flipping moron. Cmon man?

Public Service Annmt: LazHillUT has never screwed a situation up. He has also never needed a second chance.

I find it funny that this "moron" will be making more than this guy more than likely. Dennis has obviously had some hurdles in his life recently and had problems with school. I think him making the jump to the pros will work out better for him than anything else he could have done at this point. Even if he is undrafted and just gets picked up as a scout team player for someone, he will still make over 90,000 a season and that is a good amount of money that he could take care of his family with for the time being.

Despite the view one would take if they focused only on the football players, UT is an actual university. Sure he can play with a two year degree... at a community college.

Shoulda stayed

Not an option. Wasn't so much "grades" as it was that new NCAA "Progression toward the major."

By the way, for the people that took shots at the Sport Management major, that's not an easy one. It requires several upper-level business classes. If the football players are looking for something easy, that's not the major to pick.
