NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab Laid Off 900 Workers Due to Budget Cuts—But Hasn’t Fired Its Top DEI Officer

Neela Rajendra said that 'extreme deadlines' hinder 'inclusion' because some people can’t keep up

Over the course of 2024, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory laid off nearly 900 workers due to budget cuts at the agency. The cuts, which came amid delays on the Mars Sample Return program, a mission to collect dust and rocks from the red planet, reduced the lab’s headcount by 13 percent and impacted both technical and support staff.

But the jet propulsion laboratory’s chief inclusion officer, Neela Rajendra, survived the cuts. Rajendra, who helped organize a project to recruit women and minorities to the space industry, has argued that "extreme deadline" are an obstacle to "inclusion," stating on a 2022 podcast that "some people might be left behind" by the "super fast pace."

What, women and minorities can’t hit deadlines? This more of that soft bigotry showing through.

Reminiscent of “being on time” is white supremacy….

Married Senior Army Reservist And DEI Specialist Has Double Life Posting Gay Porn On Secret X Account

A married Army Reserve lieutenant colonel with a job as a DEI specialist has led a double life — running a secret X account where he posted gay porn of himself in uniform, including while he was deployed overseas, The Post can reveal.

Lt. Col. Adam Harmon, 44, an equal opportunity adviser and diversity, equity and inclusion professional in the military, has been a successful DEI lawyer at white-shoe firms Foley Hoag and WilmerHale, and is happily married to a decorated US Army Reserve Lt. Col. Peter Bennett.

Both men are graduates of the US Military Academy at West Point.

But on his alt X account “franzkafka2007,” Harmon shared workplace fantasies, self-generated X-rated content and lurid propositions for the past six years — posting as recently as November 2024.

Attractive White Women Dominate WNBA Draft in Huge Win for DEI (PHOTOS)

Diversity is strength. Inclusion is the key to growth. Representation matters.

The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), the nonprofit charitable arm of the National Basketball Association (NBA), has long claimed to support diversity, equity, and inclusion. Critics have argued these claims are bogus, primarily because attractive white women are woefully underrepresented in the league.

The WNBA draft on Monday delivered a stunning blow to these critics, and a huge win for advocates of diversity, equity, and inclusion. At least 5 of the top 16 players selected were (arguably) attractive white women, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis. Of the 38 players drafted on Monday, nearly 20 percent were attractive and white, an all-time high based on our limited research. None were transgender or morbidly obese, which just shows that the WNBA still has a long way to go if it wants to be a truly inclusive and equitable organization.

Target Execs Run To Meet With Al Sharpton after woke groups threaten boycott over DEI rollback

Target CEO Brian Cornell is set to meet civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton this week in New York amid criticism over the retailer’s rollback of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.

The meeting, which was initiated by Target, follows recent decisions by the retailer to scale back DEI initiatives — a move that prompted backlash from civil rights organizations.

“You can’t have an election come and all of a sudden, change your old positions,” Sharpton told CNBC.

That will be tough for libs to comprehend.

Mayo Clinic Renames DEI Office To ‘Office of Belonging’

The Mayo Clinic is renaming its DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) office to instead be called the “Office of Belonging.”

“Since 2020, Mayo Clinic has intentionally focused on belonging as a cornerstone of staff wellbeing,” Andrea Kalmanovitz, Mayo’s director of media relations, said in a statement quoted in the Minnesota Star Tribune.

“In keeping with this focus and recent national events, we’re embracing an opportunity to accelerate Mayo Clinic’s belonging journey to reflect our culture of collaboration and respect and support positive patient experiences,” Kalmanovitz added.

The rebrand comes following President Donald Trump’s January executive order “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity” directing federal agencies to end all DEI practices and asking the private sector to “end illegal DEI discrimination and preferences.”

On its website, Mayo Clinic says that it received $500.7 million in 2024 from federal and state sources for research funding.

Have you seen the video and expanding movement of the obese black woman trying to hammer out reasons why losing weight is racist? Wild.

I think there's a fundamental misunderstanding within the black community/culture of being whites being "racist" and whites wanting them to be accountable for their actions

There might be some "misunderstanding" but more than a little bit of it is victimhood. For instance there are LOTS of white people that aren't interested in being accountable for their actions but by and large the vast majority of people don't have much sympathy. If you're black and don't want to take accountability blame it on whitey and, at least in some circles, that somehow gets traction.

I am a fan of keeping DEI as a thing but turning into something better. It should be in a more positive direction where we celebrate minorities and what they have done for the country versus talking about them as victims or stuff like the 1619 project which is blatantly false history and rhetoric.

Get out the divisive rhetoric but keep the celebration and recognition of the different minorities and communities in our nation. I also think that these communities need to be considered American first and recognition the nation that they come from as secondary.

I also don't mind having some DEI in hiring to consider people from less privilege backgrounds like people that went to HBCs. A lot of these candidates end up making valuable employees anyways and sometimes it is good to look beyond our shallow resume requirements (heck I support that for even less privileged white communities such as Appalachia).

Haven’t seen that, but imagine it ties in with the complaint about the “Western” (I.e., White) vision of beauty.

Ethnicities and Cultures differ, and not everyone can look like Alexandra Daddario. But standing 5’5” 270 is not attractive (or healthy), and it’s not racist to call that what it is - Fat.

Nope. It's racist no matter how you try to package it.

There were a ****-load of white people in Mississippi, etc boycotting the end of race-based hiring practices back in the 60s. Al Sharpton and likely the rest of these present-day boycotters call those days some of the darkest in our country's history. Sounds like civil rights movement weren't fighting to end such racist practices; they were just wrestling the gun out of hand so they could use it?

Weird.

There are lots and LOTS of super fit black women in sports/modeling/acting/etc. To your point of looking like one of "those" girls (regardless of ethnicity) that's barely even achievable for some people's physiology. Being outright supermorbidly obese and blaming the white man while washing donuts down with fizzy sugar water should get you mocked. As you say that's not attractive, healthy or racist to be pointed out.

Well, depending on the exact subject in play yeah, it can be some pretty big circles. In the particular case of some variation of "being a healthy weight is racist" it's a pretty small circle. (and should be)
