DEI = Racism

Hmmm....seems as if you may have some extra knowledge on this issue. Please explain further.
In this scenario Cinnamon is described as a “transgender woman” - implying she was a biological male at birth.

If Cinnamon has actually physically transitioned from male to transgender female, there are some fairly significant surgeries involved (one in particular). Not to mention likely medications.

If Cinnamon can carry their average fellow soldier to safety in a pinch I'm down.

We are in agreement.

To a large extent, I agree with both of you...but...the thing about trans people not being OK for infantry, artillery, etc is that we aren't talking about a cross dressing man here who wants to be called a girls name. We are talking about men who are "transitioning" ** to females by taking female hormones and testosterone blockers every day in order to change their bodies. Not only does the multiple prescriptions daily make them unable to be forward deployed ( cannot guarantee meds to them in a war or warzone)...it negates their usefulness in that "what good is a soldier who cannot go to war?" Taking those hormones and blockers will also rob them of the muscles needed to meet their physical tasks, or to carry an injured man to safety etc. This also makes them undeployable and a liability rather than an asset to the soldiers serving beside them.

Fwiw...I have no problem with "trans" people serving in administrative type positions in the military stateside. As long as they can be demonstrated to be mentally stable and proficient in their job. There is a serious debate that can be had that the underlying mental disorder called Gender Dysphoria should disqualify people from serving in any capacity...but personally, as long as they are competent and reliable I have no problem with them serving in non-combat roles such as office work. I understand that others will not want them in the military at all...and that many folks feel that our military should not be paying for any surgeries on "trans" people in their nether regions. There is certainly room for debate.

There's a whole lot more to it than that. Can Cinnamon live in the field with minimal personal hygiene for 30+ days at a time, does Cinnamon require any medication, is Cinnamon a distraction?

There isn’t a mobile pharmacy that follows the battalion around dispensing prescriptions?

Exactly. Can't be deployed

I was just yanking your chain, but......yeah....

EPA Chief Lee Zeldin Cancels ‘400 DEI and Environmental Justice Grants,’ Saves Nearly $2 Billion

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin announced that his department canceled over “400 DEI and environmental justice grants,” saving nearly $2 billion.

In a press release on Monday, the EPA said the grants were canceled with “the assistance of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).” The grants were reportedly identified “across nine unnecessary programs” with a savings totaling $1.7 billion.

“This marks the fourth round of EPA-DOGE partnered cancellations as the Administrator oversees a line-by-line review of spending, bringing the total taxpayer dollars saved to more than $2 billion since being sworn in,” the release said.

EXCLUSIVE: Listen To Leaked Audio Of DEI Activist SHARING Air Traffic Controller Exam Answers With Minority Candidates

A top 'DEI' activist is caught on voicemail allegedly offering minority air traffic controller candidates the chance to cheat in a make-or-break entry exam.

Shelton Snow, a powerful figure in the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees (NBCFAE), can be heard promising advance access to test answers in a shocking audio clip obtained by DailyMail.com.

'There are some valuable pieces of information that I have taken a screenshot of and I am going to send that to you via email,' says Snow, an air traffic operations supervisor based out of New York.

'I am about 99.99 percent sure that it is exactly how you need to answer each question.'

The inside info was made available in 2014 to African Americans, females, and other minority candidates – but whites were left out of the loop to 'minimize competition'.

Exactly how many applicants were able to capitalize on Snow's brazen offer to secure coveted controller jobs responsible for the safety of millions of fliers remains a mystery.

But one former NBCFAE member, Matthew Douglas, told DailyMail.com: 'I know several people who cheated and I know several people who are controlling planes as we speak.'

The voicemail comes to light as President Donald Trump vows to purge DEI – diversity, equity and inclusion – from US aviation, among other federal agencies, in the wake of the deadly midair collision at Reagan National airport in January that claimed 67 lives.

NBCFAE..wth?

DEI is actual "systemic racism".
The Leftist, white guilt buzzword of the last few decades. "Systemic racism".

Thats what " Affirmative Action" and other DEI regulations, standards, and policies are: systemic racism against white folks. They disregard merit. Disregard competence. Disregard the common sense which says that we are ALL better off when that airline pilot, surgeon, or any other worker is the most qualified and proficient person for the job at hand...NOT the lesser qualified person that has the minority status desired by the Leftist idiots. Whether that be skintone, sex, age, whatever. None of that bullcrap should matter. Only merit. Period. People should get jobs, promotions, coveted spots in education, scholarships, awards, raises and bonuses based solely on merit.

Anything else is ridiculous. Thats one of the favorite and most frequently used plays in the Democrat Playbook though..." Accuse the opposition of doing EXACTLY what you are already doing yourself." That is exactly what they're doing promoting this DEI bullcrap, while always accusing the Right of "systemic racism". They think people are too stupid to catch them. Many of them are. Dem supporters in particular.

Explain how a story on Jackie Robinson's military service is "systemic racism against white folks," should be good

DoD scrubbed him, only to reinstate him after admitting it was wrong.
it sounds like what @ButchPlz described.

DOGE did some high level search with anything DEI related into it, probably including racial descriptions. the tool returned X numbers of stories/articles/urls, and they were all removed. It wasn't until someone pointed out the some real, "good" history got deleted along with the DEI "crap" for someone to actually look at it.

even in their first response you can tell there wasn't a human with critical thinking involved until after they had effed around and found out. it was a canned response, they had to retract because DOGE is no more efficient than the rest of the government they are supposed to be fixing.

I don't think DODGE had anything to do with the DoD scrubbing "DEI" from it's websites or other forums. My guess is that some poorly worded orders were handed down that allowed some bureaucratic azzholes a bunch of leeway in selecting what was scrubbed and they went full on stupid in protest.

I don't think DOGE was involved, but the method/procedure likely was very similar. We're seeing the same thing now elsewhere (outside of DOGE requests). FWIW DOGE is sending requests to prime contractors across agencies as we speak asking for one-pagers on what the contracts cover...

I guess they're "failing fast".

NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab Laid Off 900 Workers Due to Budget Cuts—But Hasn’t Fired Its Top DEI Officer

Neela Rajendra said that 'extreme deadlines' hinder 'inclusion' because some people can’t keep up

1743538899399.png
Over the course of 2024, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory laid off nearly 900 workers due to budget cuts at the agency. The cuts, which came amid delays on the Mars Sample Return program, a mission to collect dust and rocks from the red planet, reduced the lab’s headcount by 13 percent and impacted both technical and support staff.

But the jet propulsion laboratory’s chief inclusion officer, Neela Rajendra, survived the cuts. Rajendra, who helped organize a project to recruit women and minorities to the space industry, has argued that "extreme deadline" are an obstacle to "inclusion," stating on a 2022 podcast that "some people might be left behind" by the "super fast pace."
