Any pupil who decides they want to switch gender must be supported and listened to in school following the Scottish Government advice.

The guidance applies in primary schools, where the youngest children are only four or five, because ‘recognition and development of gender identity can occur at a young age’.

Teachers in Scotland will be given 'white privilege' lessons and 'anti-racism learning resources' as part of efforts to 'decolonise' the school curriculum.

Education Scotland has introduced the new guidance over fears that groups impacted by racism are not currently sufficiently represented in the curriculum.

Among its recommendations is a call for young children to be given books, 'dolls and figures' and 'dressing up clothes' which 'normalise diversity'.

The details of the plans are in a new 38-page document titled 'promoting and developing race equality and anti-racist education'.

The plans will also see teachers invited to take a 'white privilege test', while an anti-racism 'toolkit' asks staff to consider 'white fragility'.

Michigan Parents Ordered To Pay $30,000 For Throwing Out 43-Year-Old Son’s Porn Stash

A judge has ordered a western Michigan couple to pay $30,441 to their son for getting rid of his pornography collection.

U.S. District Judge Paul Maloney’s decision this week came eight months after David Werking, 43, won a lawsuit against his parents.

He said they had no right to throw out his collection of films, magazines and other items. Werking had lived at their Grand Haven home for 10 months after a divorce before moving to Muncie, Indiana.

The judge followed the value set by an expert, MLive.com reported. Werking’s parents also must pay $14,500 to their son’s attorney.

California Teacher boasts not having American flag, tells students to Pledge Allegiance To Gay Pride Flag

A California school district is investigating a teacher after she posted a video admitting that she encouraged her students to pledge allegiance to a gay pride flag after she removed the American flag from her classroom.

"Okay, so during third period, we have announcements and they do the pledge of allegiance," the teacher, identified as Kristin Pitzen of Newport Mesa School District in Orange County, said in a video posted to social media. "I always tell my class, stand if you feel like it, don’t stand if you feel like it, say the words if you want, you don’t have to say the words."

"Except for the fact that my room does not have a flag," she said, explaining that she removed the flag during the pandemic and then whispered to the camera, "because it made me uncomfortable."

Christian University's Residence Hall Gets 'We're Here! We're Queer!' LGBT Mural

At Emory University, they’re decorating the dormitory with change.

As reported by Campus Reform, the school has permitted a local artist (and Emory graduate) to paint murals in one of its residence halls.

Alabama Hall now features art dedicated to Gay Pride.

The work portrays an assortment of multi-colored people with raised fists.

One figure is holding a sign heralding “The Kiss.”
