You reap what you sow.........or at least what others have sown. It really sucks knowing that we have the most delusional fanbase in college football.
I said it months ago....Chip ain't coming. Gruden ain't coming. If you make a change, make it with a coach in the bag. Fanbase demanded immediate change. The boycott. The Rock.
And since when in this country are you now considered guilty even when you've been cleared? Since Clay Travis said so? Geez people. Schiano was probably as qualified as we were going to get. What coach in their right mind would step into this cesspool, especially given ANY other option?
Freaking heartbreaking. This program was just set back another decade........if we're lucky.
His Penn St. involvement aside (because no one know if he did or did not know anything was going on besides him & Jesus)... I didnt want him here b/c hes a sad excuse for a football coach & person. MRSA issues in Tampa that continued being issues, Josh Freeman situation, cheap bush league shots at QBs in victory formation, & his building the Rutgers program was in Conference USA (I believe the whole big least Conference USA merger has me confused who was where...) not an overwhelming statement on ones resume... I personally find his potential hire as a slap in the face to the fans who spend hard earned money by the university... I dont necessarily thinj its Gruden or bust m & I certainly never wanted Chip Kelly here either. I just want a quality individual capable of developing young men into good football players (who dont cheat & take cheap shots) & upstanding members of a community. Theres no way GS fits that bill.
