Like I said all of them usually bring great info.

Skeeter is great with recruit info
LWS is great with staff info
OCI I have no idea, I feel like its Sab 2.0

This situation with the DC is nuts and I truly believe none of these guys truly know.

I respect the opinions of Skeeter and Larry.

CDD circle of trust is about the size of a grain of sand

he has locked the medai out and I truly think that's a mistake.

We are as much as stock holders pumping the money into the program.He could at least give us a sniff of the programs direction,but that just IMO

at this point, I still don't know who it is.

it was Steele until about mid way of second quarter of the Orange Bowl and that game pretty much put things back to square one.

I've never felt it was Shannon. things started with him a week ago. With recruiting in flight last week would have been a home run to get that one out there. no way it was being worked before Wednesday night (real confident of that). Still does not seem that has gotten much traction past internet and Shannon people.

So where are we? All I have is a gut feeling. Its felt like Bennett since midday yesterday but not certain on that at all..

IF (and that's a big if), this is close to the truth, my opinion of Dooley's hiring has gone down another few notches. The fact that he's in this spot to begin with brings into question the efficacy of his past hires, and the appearance of indecisiveness here really leads me to wonder if he knows what he's doing.
Being deliberate is one thing. Not having a clue is another. I'm hopeful it's the former and not the latter.

Is it true that Dooley is pushing hard for Tommy Spangler and fighting Hart because he doesn't want Shannon here?

I like it. Not Randy Shannon "like", but I like it. One of the better choices I heard.

Not a single person on this board knows if that is true or not. If they say they do they are lying.

Sunseri makes no sense other than the Saban staff connection.

Has never been a DC at a FBS (I-A) school and seems to have plateaued as a solid defensive assistant. Unlikely with Dooley's job on the line he'd take a chance on elevating someone like this who is not proven.

Only Dooley and Hart know. That is all. And they ain't talking. End of story.

I hope they take plenty of time including a thorough vetting process.

"Tennessee: Word in San Antonio last night was that if anagreement can't be reached with Randy Shannon that Baylor defensive coordinator Phil Bennett would be asked to take the job. We'll keep you posted."
