I'm not saying it's going to be RS but doesn't almost every coach that gets a new job usually deny it up until the point when it's officially announced?

Per Inside Tennessee, Only Dooley & Hart know, But it also said the Vol Nation would be happy with this hire. Who knows?

So why is Chris Low the only person that can get in contact with RS. This whole thing is just crazy. I just hope its a good hire at this point. I will be upset if somebody like Spangler is hired after all these rumors.

No he didnt; Low reported that Shannon only said "I must have a twin"
and Low never stated how he got that info. Whether it was said to him or reported to him by somebody else.

Coaches that already have a job deny. Coaches with no job usually offer no comment at most. Shannon offered a flat denial.

Cite Urban Meyer all you want, but that's a guy with a National Title and his choice of any open job this offseasonwho was on a top announcing crew. Shannon is doing what right now?

He said he spoke with Shannon directly. They repeated it later in the show.

Whatever. I hope it is Shannon just to make everyone here happy. But I have zero faith that it will be.

Shannon did not offer a flat denial DeerPark There is no way that the large and mighty Chris Low is the only person that can get a comment out of RS. And the comment was NOT a flat denial anyway
It was an avoidance answer.

So RS decided to talk to Chris Low. Of all the people from Miami to Knoxville, Low is the only person to actually talk to RS? find that hard to believe and even if he did, why would he tell Low if he had taken the job before UT had announced anything? Not saying Low is lying but that is really hard to figure.

There isn't a coach around who would leak his pending hire, so that is ridiculous. Hart is doing his job in a professional manner. The VN is still expecting the old MH way of doing things.

With Dooley, the only leaks you're going to hear are those that come from close to the candidates, and that's what was missing here. Everyone wanted to say their info came from major boosters or those inside UT, but those people don't have info under the Dooley regime.

If Dooley was as good at coaching as he is controlling information, e'd have won the SEC this year.

How is at one point being committed equal to being a 100% Vol lock ?

And unless you were present at the time he gave this alleged commitment (which is extremely unlikely) and heard it yourself, then how are you 100% sure?

Now we are left with some possibilites, however Skeeter has said that the hire will surprise people. Zook seems like he is headed to Auburn, and Bennett seems like a logical hire, but maybe Dooley has someone else. Skeeter, LWS, SpringBok, DeerPark, please comment with info that you have. Let's hope this thread becomes reliable.

There are 2 people on the entire earth who o ow who its going to be and none of the guys you have summoned like the great Oracle of Zues have the damn slightest clue...everybody relax and met the man hire his guy then we will all know.
